Vurugu is a male lion. He is second-in-command of Obsidian's Pride.
He is an antagonist in Legends of the Lion Guard.
Appearance[]
Vurugu is gray-brown, while his mane is a darker brown shade in color. His muzzle and underbelly are paler in color. He has a dark brown zizag marking on his nose, which is black, and his eyebrows are black two. His eyelids are pale on the bottom, and darker on the top. Next to his eyes are two dark brown dots. His eyes are tangerine with yellow sclarae.
Personality[]
Vurugu is a very horrible lion who enjoys bullying those who are weaker than him. However, when faced with powerful opponents, he is a coward and flees instead of fighting. On more than one occasion his cowardice has resulted in him abandoning his own allies. He is also ashamed of his cowardice and tries to hide it behind a facade of a "trained warrior" even though he has never displayed any great fighting talent. Despite his tendency to run away from danger, Vurugu is surprisingly brave if the danger actually catches him.
