Unexpected Love - Epilogue

Plot[]

Everyone was happy for Vitani and Kopa. Their wedding was held at the Tree of Life, like Kion and Rani's had been. Kion and his mate were glad Kopa had found his place in the Circle of Life, as were Fuli and Azaad. They had found out several months ago that Binga and Bunga actually did a decent job as substitute leaders at the Tree of Life, and that Baliyo had helped them a lot.

At the wedding, Tiifu and Zuri developed crushes on Baliyo, to the amusement of his sister and several others.

Vitani let out a Roar of the Elders when the ceremony was done. The wedding had been held 1 month after Kopa and Vitani confessed liking each other.

5 months later, another surprise awaited Simba's pride.

It was a sunny day. Birds were chirping, and all the lions were hanging out in the sunshine. A cute little lioness cub walked out of a small cave, eagerly looking around. Vitani followed after the cub.

"Where do you think you're going?" she asked her daughter. The little lioness laughed as her mother held her with her paw. She had a brown head stripe on her forehead, brown paws, and a cream-colored body. Kopa smiled on a nearby rock.

Kiara came over to the pair. "Oh my goodness, is that your daughter?" she asked her sister-in-law. "She's soooo cute!"

"Her name is Safiya," Vitani answered. At that, another cub came out of the den. He was a darker brown color, with green eyes and white paws. "Oh, you have a son, too?" Kiara asked delightedly. "What's his name?"

"His name is Nuka II," Vitani replied. Kopa got down from his rock and nuzzled his cubs and mate. "Nice names, Vitani," Kiara said nicely, with a kind smile. She knew who her sister-in-law's son was named after - Vitani's deceased older brother.

"I'm sure Tiifu and Zuri will think they're absolutely precious," Kiara said. Vitani and the two girly lionesses were now at good terms, although Vitani still wasn't their biggest fan. "I'm sure they will," Kopa said back, with a small laugh.

Many other cubs had been born in the past few months, too.

Kasi and the rogue she fell in love with had a daughter named Kamaria, who had many spots, like her father. Like her mother, she would grow a tuft of hair in time. She was very smart.

Spotty, a former Outsider lioness, had a cub, named after Vitani, Spotty's old friend. Tani would become just as feisty as her namesake (Vitani) was as a cub, too.

Dotty, Spotty's older sister, had two daughters named Majuto and Miya. Later, Majuto and Nuka II would develop feelings for each other.

Safiya became good friends with Penda, Fuli and Azaad's ambitious daughter.

Vitani and Kopa's children were also good friends with their cousins, Kovu and Kiara's cubs. As adults, two of Kovu and Kiara's children would become mates with the rogue Nadim's formerly obnoxious children, who would become reformed because of them.

Simba and Nala retired as the King and Queen of the Pride Lands, enjoying life as grandparents. Kovu and Kiara were doing a great job as the new rulers of the Pride Lands. Kopa reunited with his childhood friend, Afua, and Asante the hyena became a good help to Janja and Jasiri the hyenas, who ruled the Outlands.

There was peace and happiness in the Pride Lands. A new era had started, and it would be a good one.
