It is about Timon, Pumbaa, Pat and Stan celebrating Christmas as they leave the Pride Lands to go out on a quest to find a tuliza while their friends set up a special surprise for them while they're gone. - The headphones Pat used to perform in Flamingo Beach are the same headphones used from the Pat and Stan episode "Double Pat" when Pat is rocking in the bathroom before he see his clone going downstairs with Stan to meet up with some neighbors.
- In the opening and ending set in the future of 2026 as implied in the series finale of The Lion Guard, Makini left the Tree of Life as she returned to the Pride Lands to join Rafiki in the tree as Professor Chi-Chi join in to tell a story about how Timon, Pumbaa, Pat and Stan celebrate Christmas together.
