Description and Personalities[]
”Simba, everything the light touches is our kingdom.” -one of the most famous Siku Pride quotes.
The Siku Pride is a serious and respectful pride of lions who rule over Pride Rock. They are rebellious, serious, respectful, and passionate. They love playing games and festivals. The Siku Pride is very busy with the kingdom they rule, so they have a Lion Guard to protect it as they plan festivals and such.
History[]
The Founding[]
Russom and his pride were traveling. Russom found a pride of four lions when they stopped, who guided them to a rock. The four lions willfully merged into Russom’s pride. The pride evolved into the Siku Pride and claimed territory on the kingdom. The animals at the land decided they should be the royals, thus the Siku Pride was official.
The Lion Guard Founding[]
Generations later, brothers Mohatu and Askari were born. Mohatu was the heir, and Askari, well, just hung around. Unknown to everyone, Askari had a certain ability, where he would do a certain roar, making everything around him “fly”. As times were getting harder in the Pridelands, like several droughts and wildfires, Askari founded a group of lions to protect the Pridelands. It was made up of Jabari, the strongest, Kamili, the keenest of sight, Adia, the bravest, Faraji, the fastest, and Askari, the fiercest. Each of these positions would be passed down to future guards. The Lion Guard protected the Pridelands. One day, the evil lions attacked and injured Adia. However, the Guard fought.
After the two days of battle, the Lion Guard went miles to the Tree Of Life, not only to heal Adia, but to see their relatives who resided at the Tree Of Life. That’s where Askari met a small cub named Janna. The two befriended eachother. Askari and the Guard went back to the Pridelands.
Mohatu’s Rule[]
Tragedy struck the Pridelands again. Several personal battles were going on, and droughts were frequently happening. However, upon Mohatu’s rule, the droughts started to stop and the personal battles ended. Askari sadly died from old age. Mohatu ruled for many years until he sadly passed away in his sleep. Mohatu had an unnamed mate which they had Ahadi together. Mohatu often accompanied Ahadi. Ahadi grew into a healthy adult male lion with an Asiatic lion named Uru, whom was the princess of an unnamed pride, but ran away for freedom. Shortly before Mohatu died, Uru and Ahadi gave birth to a healthy cub named Omari.
Ahadi’s Rule[]
A few years after Omari’s birth, Uru gave birth to yet another cub named Mufasa. Ahadi was losing attention of Omari, which made Omari jealous. Mufasa was now the heir, but Omari was older. Ahadi gave him the position of the Lion Guard leader, as fiercest. Omari assigned Nguvu, the keenest of sight, Jabari II, the strongest, Abdalla, the bravest, Kasi, the fastest, and himself the fiercest. The five were a great guard, but one month, that would all change. Omari’s jealousy grew stronger day by day, to the point he wanted to kill Mufasa. A strange lion he met on a patrol taught him a trick, which was a deadly trap.
A cobra, trained by the strange lion, bit Scar on the eye, leaving a mark of evil. Omari got a new name, Scar, and killed the strange lion. Scar told the Lion Guard to kill Mufasa for his throne, which they rejected. Scar killed them all. When Scar returned a few days later, Mufasa got into a fight with him after Rafiki, his friend, witnessed the fight. Scar was exiled shortly after. He was tired, and slept right in the middle of the gorge. A few hyenas walked over. Scar supposed they would obey him, and made several deals with them. This upset the hyena queen, who Scar eventually dealt with. The hyena queen’s cub would need caring, and the cub’s name was Shenzi. Scar went to rule over the Outlands.
Mufasa’s Rule & Scar’s Tyranny[]
Shortly after Scar left Priderock, he met his childhood friend, Zira. Ahadi shortly died after this. Zira and Scar were in a big relationship. Mufasa, on the other hand, had already became mates with Sarabi, a beautiful lioness who knew Mufasa well. He and Sarabi had a cub named Simba, who was the new heir. Scar, knowing he would never be king, throughout the years thought of a plan for him to be one. One day, when Simba was a cub, Scar had tricked Mufasa into teaching him a roaring lesson, then releasing a stampede, and ending up killing Mufasa and attempting to kill Simba but dropping them in the stampede. Simba ran away and never returned, until his adulthood. From then on, Scar was king until Simba returned and killed him.
Simba’s Rule[]
Simba had married Nala and gave birth to Kopa. However, Kopa was amusingly killed by Zira for hanging out with Nuka and Vitani, her cubs. Unknown to the pridelands, Kopa actually was saved by a colony of straw-colored fruit bats. Simba and Nala had yet another cub named Kiara. She was good friends with Kovu. For details, see Kiara’s and Kovu’s page. Kiara was deemed heir. Meanwhile, Kion was the new leader of The Lion Guard and had his friends fight with him. Simba and Nala still currently rule.
