Plot[]

(Back at the Outlands in a tree, the vultures are seen standing as Mzingo and Mwoga show up to inform them about Janja's new plan)

  • Mzingo: My fellow vultures. We got a mission to investigate.
  • Vulture #1: Anything you'll like to say.
  • Vulture #2: What does Janja want?
  • Mwoga: You won't believe what we have saw.
  • Mzingo: Janja and his clan are striking out of the Pride Lands to follow the footprints of Kion's family. They are off to a adventure like never before. We will stop them from reaching to their point of destination.
  • Mwoga: I can't wait to kill the lions before we target the Lion Guard.
  • Vulture #3: That sound like a prey to kill.
  • Mzingo: Vultures, march up! We got a anthem to make!
  • Mwoga: Heh heh heh. Do what you got to say, boss.
  • Mzingo: Before we bring the meeting of this committee to order... Please join me in the singing of our parliamentary anthem. *he and his flock stomp their feet on the tree branches*
  • Mwoga: Oh yeah. Our anthem.
  • Mzingo: *sing*

What birds are the lords of the sky?

Ruling the rest from on high

The answer is clear

  • Mwoga: 'Cause we're all perched here!
  • Vultures: *sing*

All hail the Vultures!

All hail the Vultures!

Hail, hail, the vultures

All hail!

All hail!

Hail, hail, the vultures

All hail!

All hail!

We are the greatest

Just try to debate us!

Hail, hail, the vultures

All hail!

All hail!

  • Mzingo: Some may call us scavengers.
  • Mwoga: And some may call us thieves.
  • Mzingo: But if you're looking for intelligence.
  • Mwoga: *sing*

Just look up in the leaves!

And!

  • Vultures: *sing*

Hail, hail, the vultures

All hail!

All hail!

Hail, hail, the vultures

All hail!

All hail!

We are the greatest

Just try to debate us!

Hail, hail, the vultures

All hail!

All hail!

Hail, hail, the vultures

All hail!

All hail! *laugh*

  • Mzingo: Way a go my crew!
  • Mwoga: We really rock the flock.
  • Vulture #1: We vultures will not be on the menu tonight!
  • Vulture #2: We're gonna haunt whatever we can find.
  • Mzingo: My crew, let's fly!
  • Mwoga: Bombs away! *he and the vultures laugh as they fly out of the tree*

(Back with Janja's clan, they left the Outlands as they headed to the Pride Lands while sniffing on the grass, heading to Pride Rock)

  • Janja: No sign of footprints anywhere.
  • Cheezi: I didn't see a thing.
  • Chungu: Me neither.
  • Janja: Fur-brains, why are you standing here for? Keep losing!
  • Cheezi: We are! Just because we stop doesn't mean we're lazy.
  • Chungu: Yeah. It's hard to find a clue when you can't even find it in the first place.
  • Janja: I don't know why I hired you chumps in the first place.
  • Tano: Janja, look. The oval rock!
  • Janja: *found Pride Rock* Ah, Pride Rock. The home of the lazy lions. How admirable.
  • Nne: You said Kion and his pride has left.
  • Janja: Yes. Keep looking in the rock.

(Janja and his clan sneak into Pride Rock as they sniff into the den while pushing some rocks on where they are)

  • Janja: No lions around here.
  • Cheezi: I thought they left.
  • Chungu: Do we have to keep on going?
  • Janja: I can't believe they actually left. The vultures were right about this. They are really gone.
  • Nne: Not on the peak.
  • Tano: Or the edge of the rock.
  • Janja: The pride don't make the rules whenever they're gonna leave or not. They are a bunch of lost cases that can't even govern themselves. *laugh*
  • Cheezi: They're off to some place else.
  • Janja: Cheezi's right. They're heading to where they're going. *spot a footprint of a lion paw* By the footprint!
  • Chungu: So, do we go straight to where they are.
  • Janja: Yes. Follow me so we can follow their tracks on where they headed.
  • Ushari: *show up by hissing* Not until you join the fight with me!
  • Janja: Ushari? What are you doing here? We didn't invite you to the party.
  • Mzingo: What do you want?
  • Ushari: I saw your footprints and these footprints are leading to where the Lion Guard would be heading.
  • Cheezi: How do you know?
  • Chungu: Are you stalking on us?
  • Janja: *to his clan* Shut up! Let me explain. *to Ushari* So you want to go after Kion and his family?
  • Ushari: Yes. We have a deal.
  • Mzingo: Oh brother. It's gonna be one of those days.
  • Ushari: We'll chase after the Lion Guard and get revenge on those who stand against our team.
  • Janja: Now that's a deal I want to see. Let's go my team!
  • Cheezi: Woo hoo!
  • Chungu: Showtime.
  • Mzingo: We'll follow along.
  • Janja: Into the footprints!
  • Ushari: *he and everyone follow along* Time to get started on the hunting order.

(Back with the Lion Guard, Timon and Pumbaa, they head over to the plains while passing by the rock bridge by following the lions' footprints)

  • Bunga: Simba and his pride took all the way to reach over to the savannah.
  • Timon: I've never seen Simba walk all this way since arriving at the desert.
  • Pumbaa: You know what they said. Every lion take a journey by a long walk.
  • Fuli: Do we really have to take that one long into the land?
  • Timon: Yeah yeah. Whatever Kion and Simba are going, the field trip isn't far away from where they are.
  • Fuli: Ugh. We could have go with them in the first place.
  • Ono: You know the rules. We have to go and look for answers.
  • Beshte: What kind of answers do you mean, Ono?
  • Ono: Where the lions are headed, they might give us a big speech.
  • Beshte: A big speech? For?
  • Timon: Like a message.
  • Pumbaa: Every time a animal from far away come to the Pride Lands, they always deliver a message to King Simba.
  • Timon: Duh. We're the ones that raised him and make him the king in the first place.
  • Pumbaa: Just because we made him king doesn't mean he has to tell us what to do.
  • Beshte: When a king take orders, you gotta take them seriously.
  • Timon: All because we gotta work for them?
  • Fuli: That's what life is, Timon. You work with a king.
  • Ono: Even the birds have leaders where we have to take orders from.
  • Timon: I would be taking orders from legal. And local. Who knows?
  • Pumbaa: I'll be jumping and bumping out of my seat if I were you.
  • Beshte: Like my father said, "You always gotta follow the rules. Take responsibilities and take action."
  • Timon: What a wise of words, Beshte. I'm impressed.
  • Bunga: I'm proud to have you guys as the best uncles ever.
  • Pumbaa: Oh Bunga. You're here to make a difference.
  • Bunga: Zuka Zama, Pumbaa.
  • Fuli: *spot the lion footprints* I spot the footprints. Where did they went?
  • Ono: The trails! We have to follow them!
  • Timon: That's right! Make way to the straight line!
  • Pumbaa: On the places we'll go!
  • Bunga: Let's keep it moving!
  • Ono: You guys lead the way. I'll keep track of the clues!
  • Timon: We're never too old to go on another adventure!

(Back with Simba and his family, the lions left the swamp and head over to a desert as they step on the sand while feeling the heat through the hot sun on a hot weather)

  • Simba: Anyone getting some heat waves here?
  • Kion: Shoot. It's so hot out here.
  • Kiara: I can't feel through my paws.
  • Nala: Relax Kiara, it's just a desert.
  • Simba: I always hated deserts. So hot, so sweaty and so burning. It's like you're catching a sun burn here.
  • Nala: The sand is much worse when you step on one.
  • Simba: Trust me, I was stranded in sand once and surrounded by buzzards before I met Timon and Pumbaa.
  • Nala: We could have stayed back at the jungle instead. Maybe a oasis around here could help.
  • Simba: No no. There's no oasis around here. We'll just have to keep on going.
  • Kion: No oasis?! I'm getting hot in here.
  • Kiara: Almost every desert is as hot as a beach.
  • Simba: As long we stay together, we won't feel the burn.
  • Nala: Oh Simba.
  • Kion: I can agree on that.
  • Kiara: You have my word.
  • Kion: You know what they say.
  • Simba: Keep looking until we found some shade.
  • Nala: Understandable.

(Simba, Nala, Kion and Kiara continue to walk in the desert while the cape dogs sniff on the grass and spy on Simba and his family on the way)

  • Cape Dog #1: No other food to chew on. What are we looking for?!
  • Cape Dog #2: Yeah. We're starving and we got nothing to chew on.
  • Cape Dog #3: What's the big deal?
  • Cape Dog #1: *target on Simba's pride* Ah, yes. The perfect meal. Something juicy, something chewy and some meat to use on the grinder.
  • Cape Dog #2: Ooh, it's a lion.
  • Cape Dog #3: We never hunt on a lion before.
  • Cape Dog #1: I'm gonna chew on a thing with a face on it. Come on.
  • Cape Dog #2: It's lunch time.
  • Cape Dog #3: A cape dog's favorite meal to devour.

(Simba and the family walk through the lines in the desert while the cape dogs chase them to prepare for an attack)

  • Simba: No hard feelings, eh?
  • Nala: Man, it's hot.
  • Kion: We could have stay in an oasis.
  • Kiara: I see no oasis around here.
  • Simba: It's weird not having to see one around the sand in this hot sand place.
  • Kion: I could say that again if I were you.
  • Simba: *encounter some cape dogs* Cape dogs.
  • Nala: What they want from us?
  • Cape Dog #1: Hello, lions. Where are you all heading?
  • Simba: Nowhere. I'm just here with my family, trying to take them to some place where the lion prides back up.
  • Cape Dog #2: You are trespassing your homeland, far-walker.
  • Cape Dog #3: You look like fresh meat for lunch.
  • Kiara: What? What we do?
  • Kion: Not another clan of predators.
  • Cape Dog #4: I got a big appetite for my tummy!
  • Simba: Don't get any close to my family.
  • Kiara: *nervous* I'm scared.
  • Kion: Don't worry Kiara. I got this.
  • Nala: *block Kion* No Kion. Let your father handle this.
  • Kion: What if he get hurt?
  • Nala: Simba got this.
  • Simba: Go back where you came from.
  • Cape Dog #1: Don't make me chew you.
  • Cape Dog #2: Lunch... and dinner.
  • Cape Dog #3: What do we say. Lion and cape dog be allies?
  • Simba: I'm not falling for one of your tricks, predator.
  • Cape Dog #1: You're calling me a predator? I'll show you what a predator is! *scratch Simba*
  • Simba: *growls* Aw. Predator! *fight a cape dog*
  • Cape Dog #2: Angry lion on the loose!
  • Simba: *bite a cape dog* Get out!
  • Cape Dog #3: Watch it, lion!
  • Nala: Simba, behind you!
  • Cape Dog #4: *bite Simba* Got you again!
  • Simba: Ah.
  • Cape Dog #4: *scratch Simba* Got you twice!
  • Simba: Ooh.
  • Kion: Come on dad. You can do it.
  • Simba: Kion, a little help here!
  • Kion: What?
  • Simba: You led the guard. You performed all your strengths. Why not teach these cape dogs a fabric lesson?
  • Kion: Alright.
  • Nala: Be careful out there.
  • Kion: Take this! *scratch a cape dog*
  • Cape Dog #1: Ah! The baby lion got me!
  • Cape Dog #2: Get the cub!
  • Cape Dog #3: I got him. *get scratched by Kion* Ow.
  • Kiara: *roar at the lions* Get out!
  • Cape Dog #1: Aw, who's a little lion?
  • Nala: Leave my daughter alone! *scratch a cape dog*
  • Cape Dog #1: Oof!
  • Cape Dog #4: *fight Simba* Come on, lone lion!
  • Simba: I'm not a loner. We're a family. *slap a cape dog*
  • Cape Dog #4: Don't slap me when I'm fighting.

(Far on the sand hill, another lion family came to check on the fight and realize what's going on)

  • ??? #1: What's going on here?
  • ??? #2: Honey, a bunch of cape dogs are after the royal family.
  • ??? #3: We have to help them!
  • ??? #4: They're in danger in the middle of the desert!
  • ??? #1: These precious cape dogs are hurting these far-walkers on their journey. Not on my watch.
  • ??? #2: Everyone together! *she and her family rush to help Simba's family*

(Simba's family continue to fight the cape dogs as another family of lions join in to teach the cape dogs a lesson)

  • Simba: Get outta here!
  • Cape Dog #1: Can't leave without my meat.
  • Nala: Simba, behind you!
  • Simba: *get scratched by a cape dog* Grr.
  • Cape Dog #2: Ah. *get knocked by Kiara*
  • Kiara: *roar* Meanie.
  • Kion: *growl at the cape dogs* Back off!
  • Cape Dog #3: Here kitty kitty kitty kitty kitty.
  • Cape Dog #4: Are you scared of the long way out?
  • Kion: These guys are as worse than the hyenas.
  • Cape Dog #1: I've seen some hyenas. In fact, they hate cape dogs like you guys.
  • Simba: You stay away or you'll face my roar! *roar at the cape dogs*
  • Cape Dog #1: Man, that roar is like a blow!
  • Simba: *continue roaring as another family of lions show up by roaring and taking down the cape dogs* Huh?
  • Nala: Whoa?
  • Kiara: Who are they?
  • Kion: They look like us.
  • ??? #1: *he and his family attack the cape dogs by scratching, slamming and pushing as well defeating them* You don't mess with a king. You don't mess with me! Do you understand?! *growl*
  • Cape Dog #1: Yes. Qué pasa. Why do you mind?
  • ??? #1: Scam off! Now! *roar*
  • Cape Dog #2: Off we go!
  • Cape Dog #3: Gosh, these kings are mean!
  • Cape Dog #4: *he and his clan run away* Let's go prey and eat some other animal in the wild! *laugh*
  • Kion: Thank you for saving us. You know how much thanks we were given when you guys show up.
  • ??? #1: No. Thank you. Is anyone alright?
  • Kion: Yeah. Just hurt on the outside.
  • Kiara: Glad you drove these nasty predators outta here.
  • ??? #2: Are you okay? Do any of you guys need a drink before you set off?
  • Simba: *realize someone he knows* Oh my gosh!
  • Nala: No way. It can't be you.
  • Simba: Nzuri.
  • ??? #1: Simba.
  • Simba: Hi. I heard a lot about you. Are you following us on our way to the nearest location?
  • Nzuri: This is our free ticket to get to the place on where you're going. We are in the same page of the book right now.
  • Kiara: Hey, you got kids.
  • Kion: They look almost like us.
  • Nala: Hey Nzuri. Great seeing you. It been a while since we first met.
  • Nzuri: I am Nzuri. This is my mate Matumaini and my cubs Kama and Hatima. Cubs, say hello.
  • Kama: Hi there.
  • Kion: Hello. I'm Kion.
  • Kama: Kama my name.
  • Hatima: Hatima.
  • Kiara: Kiara.
  • Nala: Hey, we're getting to know each other.
  • Matumaini: You are Simba and Nala of the Pride Lands. How exciting.
  • Simba: It been ages since we first met and then you moved on the day my father taught me a lesson.
  • Nzuri: So, how is Mufasa doing?
  • Simba: *sign* Sadly, he died years ago in the stampede by his own brother in wake of taking over my home. Full of hate and cursed with darkness.
  • Nzuri: Very sorry for your loss. So what did your uncle do next?
  • Simba: When I came back as an grown-up, I challenged him and defeat him by the flames. In the end, I became king of Pride Rock and restored everything back that was in my father's dreams.
  • Nzuri: You got a vision there, kiddo.
  • Matumaini: You are always more than welcome to come to where we're going.
  • Simba: Well we're on the same page.
  • Matumaini: Sweet. We're on the same chapter as where we're going.
  • Kama: What are you, some sort of prince or a major domo?
  • Kion: I'm prince. She's princess.
  • Kiara: One day, I'm gonna rule the pride.
  • Hatima: I wanna be princess someday.
  • Kama: So, you're like, a jester or something?
  • Kion: I'm just a leader of the Lion Guard, a team full of animals that protect the Pride Lands from danger.
  • Kama: The Lion Guard is full of animals? I thought the group is called the Lion Guard and not the animal guard or something.
  • Kion: Well back in the past, it was a group of lions. Ever since the incident with the hyenas, I decided to form an all-animal Lion Guard group to protect the animals from predator threats.
  • Hatima: Nice. Are your animal friends with you? What are they like? A mongoose or a hippo?
  • Kion: They're a honey badger, hippo, cheetah and egret.
  • Kama: Sweet. You have gifts and you're really special.
  • Kiara: He is always here to protect our pride.
  • Simba: My son's the hero. Am I right?
  • Nzuri: You are right. You must be the lion that rule a rock on tiles.
  • Simba: I am the lion who rule a rock on piles. Is there something wrong?
  • Nzuri: Oh, no. We've been waiting to see you for a long time and finally, we get to see you on our journey to a very far place we're going.
  • Nala: How did you know about Simba and any of the Pride Landers in the land?
  • Matumaini: Our pride of lions knew about you. We heard from the visions that we're all going to a place where we could meet up with each other on one big lion.
  • Nzuri: All lion prides are going.
  • Simba: Great. Even some of the bad ones like the ones that were exiled a while back?
  • Nzuri: The bad ones aren't coming. It's just us, okay?
  • Simba: Okay. If you say so.
  • Kion: Desert's getting kinda hot. We should get going.
  • Kama: Kion's right. We must head straight.
  • Simba: Time is clocking on us. Let's go.
  • Nzuri: Lead the way and we'll follow.
  • Simba: You heard me.
  • Matumaini: Let's hit the road.
  • Nala: You said it.
  • Simba: Let's follow those paws before we catch up with the prides.
  • Nzuri: We're not gonna be late today on the prides' gathering, right?

(Back with the Lion Guard, Timon and Pumbaa, they are walking through a field while walking slowly with their legs getting tired after a long walk to follow the footprints)

  • Timon: Do you see any land around here?
  • Pumbaa: What? I thought we're in the land.
  • Bunga: So much walking. We should take a break.
  • Fuli: The sun's getting low. We should find a safe place somewhere.
  • Beshte: We could have gone into an oasis.
  • Ono: I'll go look for a place to sleep. *fly*
  • Timon: Make it quick!
  • Pumbaa: Hope you give us an update.
  • Fuli: As long there isn't a place filled with baboons.
  • Timon: They're no baboons anywhere. Plus, we're the only ones in the area.
  • Pumbaa: Heh. We could have sleep with the mandrills for the night.
  • Fuli: Ha ha, very funny boys. I bet we would be sleeping at Rafiki's place for the night.
  • Ono: Friends, I found a place to stay for one night.
  • Bunga: What did you say?
  • Ono: A resort!
  • Timon: Ooh. Talk about a lot of beds.
  • Pumbaa: We're gonna rest here for a while. Come on.
  • Bunga: I wonder what the place has in feature.

(Timon, Pumbaa and the Lion Guard walk into a small oasis era with a cavern for the gang to stay in for the night)

  • Timon: Ah, it got a cave.
  • Pumbaa: It's bigger as a bear cave. We can go in.
  • Bunga: All of us together.
  • Beshte: *yawn* You guys were right.
  • Fuli: After a long day, we really need a rest.
  • Ono: Like, how did Simba and his pride did not take a nap while exploring around the world.
  • Timon: Wise lions. They never take naps.
  • Pumbaa: I thought the kings take rests for their pride.
  • Bunga: They do, honestly.
  • Ono: Yeah. Even the birds too.
  • Beshte: If there was water, I would have been sleeping on a float.
  • Fuli: *yawn* I knew we would stay here for the night.
  • Timon: Yep yep yep. Time to go to bed.
  • Pumbaa: *he and everyone sleep* Ah. The sleep of my tights.
  • Bunga: Yeah. Sleep tight.
  • Ono: No bed bugs.
  • Fuli: Finally. Some sleep.
  • Beshte: Goodnight y'all.
  • Bunga: See you in the morning.

(Timon, Pumbaa and the Lion Guard all go to sleep in the cavern. Meanwhile, Janja and his clan are sniff through the grass while looking for the Lion Guard as the vultures follow them on their way alongside Ushari.)

  • Ushari: No sign of the lions. How depressing.
  • Janja: Ugh. Stupid bugs. Why are we staring at them?
  • Chungu: I don't know. I thought we're following the footprints.
  • Cheezi: Yep. And my legs are getting tired.
  • Tano: So does us.
  • Nne: We need a rest we can't keep walking like this the whole day!
  • Janja: Fine! Everyone take a rest and go to sleep. We'll continue the rest of the journey in the morning.
  • Chungu: Finally. We can rest.
  • Cheezi: Ah. Now my body is stretching like a banana.
  • Mzingo: *land with his flock* You wouldn't be fair for a monkey's uncle.
  • Mwoga: Heh heh heh. You know the weird shaman that always use fruits to make visions? I think his name is... Rafiki. Yeah. Rafiki. Like a friend.
  • Janja: Rafiki is no friend. He is just a dummy like that Simba king and Kion cub. We'll deal with his whole pride by the time we get to his very secret-y place.
  • Chungu: I tell ya. They don't know when to quit.
  • Cheezi: *laugh* Ah! You're so funny Chungu.
  • Janja: Everyone has a sense of humor these days.
  • Tano: You know when they are going to be taught on the peaking order.
  • Nne: All of them will be in dead meat.
  • Mzingo: You can say that again.
  • Mwoga: Heh heh heh. It make me laugh.
  • Janja: Okay guys. No more fooling around. Let's get some rest before we hunt in the morning.
  • Mzingo: Alright. Rest your body and sleep.
  • Chungu: Yeah. I'm feeling good.
  • Cheezi: I'm soft.
  • Tano: Feeling the spot.
  • Nne: All is good.
  • Ushari: We will go back to hunting when we wake up in the morning.
  • Janja: Sweet dreams. And sweet nightmares.

(Back at the cavern in the oasis, Fuli is still sleeping as she has been hearing some voices with a bunch of skylight as she and her group wake up)

  • Fuli: What is that?
  • Bunga: Ooh. I hear celebration voices.
  • Timon: *he and everyone but Fuli rush to outside* There gotta be a little promotion in there.
  • Pumbaa: Sign me up!
  • Fuli: Wait! Where are you headed? Ugh, we never came here to look at something new.

(Fuli walk out of the cave along with her group and see a bunch of animals lined up for a ceremony of Simba's pride's return as flowers are being thrown in the air with praises of Kion on a rock)

  • Fuli: What the?
  • Beshte: Look! The lions have returned!
  • Ono: Already? It been this early since the last journey.
  • Timon: Oh boy! It's Simba!
  • Pumbaa: And they got the royal family together!
  • Simba: Greetings! We all have returned for a celebration with one favor.
  • Everyone: Hooray for the lions!
  • Zazu: Long live the king!
  • Rafiki: Yea! Yea! Yea! All hail to your future king!
  • Ma Tembo: They're back from their adventure.
  • Twiga: You guys rule.
  • Big Baboon: Ooh ooh ah ah.
  • Gumba: Amazing.
  • Thurston: He's gonna make a fine zebra.
  • Muhanga: Way a go.
  • Muhangus: Way past cool.
  • Chura: Awesome brother!
  • Basi: You learned a lot since you were a young lion.
  • Mbeya: Epic.
  • Makuu: They're gonna live a life on the rock.
  • Pua: You can say it again.
  • Rafiki: Friends. Give praise to your new king. Kion!
  • Everyone: *chant* Kion! Kion! Kion! Kion! Kion! Kion!
  • Timon: That's our Kion boy!
  • Pumbaa: He's the new king of Pride Rock now.
  • Simba: Well done Kion.
  • Nala: You are the most bravest lion we ever know.
  • Kiara: Yay for my brother!
  • Kion: Let a new world begin for all of us. *roar and make everyone cheer as he wink an eye*
  • Fuli: *scream* Nooooooooo!!!!

(Fuli woke up on the cave as she realize she was having a nightmare as she see her friends around her after all a dream)

  • Fuli: *woke up* Aah!
  • Bunga: *woke up* Fuli, what's wrong?
  • Fuli: No. He can't be king of the Pride Lands. Not in a chance when I'm about to be queen.
  • Bunga: You're dreaming again.
  • Fuli: It was a dream. Glad it didn't happen.
  • Bunga: Whatever. Just go back to sleep.
  • Fuli: Fine. Whatever. *sleep*
  • Bunga: Tomorrow, we got the whole day to walk. *sleep*

(Back with Simba and Nzuri's gang, they are walking through the desert as their legs are gettng tired after a long walk to reach to their desination)

  • Simba: Are we getting kinda tired?
  • Nala: Our legs are. I think we need to catch a break.
  • Nzuri: There's a oasis there where we can stay for the night.
  • Kion: Whoa. We finally found ourselves a oasis.
  • Kama: Finally. Let's go in.
  • Kion: Not bad for an oasis.
  • Kiara: It always look clean there.
  • Hatima: You can say that again.
  • Matumaini: It look clean in here.
  • Simba: Once we get some rest, we'll be ready to continue the journey by morning.
  • Nala: We got some catching up to do later on.
  • Nzuri: Until then, let's go take a rest.
  • Matumaini: Ah. I am feeling the spot.
  • Simba: The sand feel kinda rubby.
  • Kion: It get sticky.
  • Kiara: Be grateful it's not quicksand.
  • Kama: This could be our bed.
  • Hatima: Much better.
  • Simba: Ah. Love to sleep lazy.
  • Nala: Simba!
  • Simba: Oh Nala. All kings do that all the time. Even my father. So does yours.
  • Nala: My father was never lazy enough to hunt with the guardians in your age.
  • Nzuri: *laugh* Ah. Every parent of a king has done this long ago. We hunt, we lay, and we bow. Like praising a god to a king of another.
  • Matumaini: Just like the Great Spirit who created all of us lions.
  • Kion: Is he like one of the Great Kings of the Past?
  • Nzuri: The greatest king of the past of all. He was the greatest king before all of us kings, and our fathers.
  • Nala: Give some love to the queens as well. I'm sure my mother is one of them now in the clouds.
  • Simba: One day when we're gone, we'll be watching them.
  • Nzuri: Get some rest. Tomorrow we have a long walk to get to the circle.
  • Nala: Sleep tight my friends.
  • Kion: And no bed bugs.

(The next morning, Simba and Nzuri's gang wake up on the oasis after a long nap)

  • Simba: *yawn* Morning everyone.
  • Nala: Good morning Simba.
  • Nzuri: Ah. The sun's up. How surprising.
  • Matumani: Got ourselves a good oasis to stay for one night.
  • Kion: It's the best oasis we got to offer.
  • Kiara: We like it.
  • Kama: Do you know where we're going now?
  • Nzuri: We're about to head where we left off.
  • Hatima: Let's get into the wild.
  • Simba: Follow us. We're going back to the desert.
  • Nala: I thought we're already in the desert.
  • Simba: Out of the oasis and in with the desert.
  • Nala: Let's go.

(Simba and Nzuri's gang left the oasis and continue to walk in the desert as they walk through a field and meet up with a pride of lions walking in the same path as Simba and Nzuri are amazed by the reveal of lions in a canyon)

  • Simba: Wow.
  • Nzuri: Oh gosh.
  • Nala: There's so many of them.
  • Matumaini: It's like we never seen them in a line before.
  • Kion: Hevi kabisa!
  • Kiara: We're not the only ones walking after the sacred place.
  • Kama: They seem they're on the same page.
  • Hatima: Glad we're all together on a team.
  • Simba: Except, we're missing the rest of the pride and we don't know where they are.
  • Nala: Mother, Sarafina, everyone else.
  • Nzuri: Don't worry Nala. We'll find the rest of your family.
  • Simba: I think they're might be where the rest of the pride are. Come on.
  • Nala: We better not slow down traffic.
  • Kion: *he and everyone pass by some lions* Ooh, excuse me. Coming through.
  • Kiara: Pardon us.
  • Male Lion #1: Oh.
  • Male Lion #2: Watch it. We're walking here.
  • Female Lioness #1: Hey.
  • Female Lioness #2: Watch where you're going.
  • Kama: Wait up!
  • Hatima: We're ahead of time.
  • Kion: There's no many lions we don't know.
  • Kiara: Cause we don't associate with their prides. We associate with our own pride.
  • Kion: We're the Pride Landers. 'Till the Pride Lands end, Lion Guard defend!
  • Kiara: Not now Kion. You don't have to battle cry over a crowd.
  • Kion: I'm not planning to fight. We just needed some space to move.
  • Kiara: Space you say?
  • Simba: *hear some familiar voices* I hear voices.
  • Nala: What do you hear?
  • Simba: Mother.
  • Sarabi: *voice* Simba!
  • Simba: Mother? *found the rest of his pride* Mother! *hug Sarabi*
  • Sarabi: Oh Simba, it's you.
  • Nala: Mommy!
  • Sarafina: Come to mama. *hug Nala*
  • Kion: Hey, we found the rest of the pride.
  • Kiara: How exciting.
  • Tiifu: Kiara!
  • Zuri: It's you!
  • Kiara: You all made it. Where have you been?
  • Tiifu: Looking all over for you.
  • Zuri: We thought you were lost and thought the whole pride was lost in shambles.
  • Simba: Guys, I want you to meet Nzuri.
  • Nzuri: Hey everyone.
  • Sarabi: Hi Nzuri.
  • Nzuri: We're a full house now.
  • Matumaini: We would have been packed in a mansion if we were all inside of a place.
  • Simba: Where were you. How did you guys get here all a sudden?
  • Sarabi: When we were in a crocodile chase, we were separated. The roar your son caused made us run and couldn't find you where you guys are in circles.
  • Sarafina: We somehow found a pride of lions on our way in the desert and end up coming into the canyon.
  • Simba: Good thing you all made it to safety during the chase.
  • Kion: We all would have been eaten right now if it weren't for the crocodiles.
  • Kiara: Glad we dodged a bullet on that one.
  • Nzuri: We're all together now.
  • Matumaini: All in for now.
  • Kiongozi: *walk in* Greetings, my friends and family! We are about to make our way to the canyon.
  • Simba: Who is this?
  • Nzuri: That must be Kiongozi.
  • Kion: Kion Gozi?
  • Nzuri: Kiongozi!
  • Kiongozi: Well hello Nzuri. Way to catch up on time.
  • Nzuri: Thank you. I want you to meet the Pride Landers from the Pride Lands.
  • Kiongozi: Well, well, well. If it isn't the Pride Landers. Great seeing you all. I thought I never heard a word from you all again since Mufasa died in the fall of the stampede.
  • Simba: You know my father?
  • Kiongozi: Yes. I knew about your father when your uncle Scar took over the Pride Lands with power. Your actions defeated Scar and saved your own kingdom. How does it feel to be a king of your kingdom.
  • Simba: I feel substantial to lead the Pride Lands.
  • Kiongozi: Congratulations on your leadership. Anyways, welcome to my pride. Well not just my pride, everyone pride is going where we're suppose to go.
  • Kion: Hey there. You have happen to share the same name as me.
  • Simba: Anyways, meet Kion. It's funny that your name almost sound like my son, but longer.
  • Kiongozi: Kion. How surprising.
  • Kion: Kiongozi. How astounding.
  • Kiongozi: Name rhymes.
  • Kiara: It's your lucky day, Kion.
  • Kion: Thank you. I'll be hitting the spot when we get home.
  • Kiongozi: My friends, we are about to go north. Let's go!
  • Simba: So, do we have to follow what Kiongozi order us to do?
  • Nzuri: It's his way. He lead the way, we follow him.
  • Simba: Alright. Hakuna Matata.
  • Nzuri: No worries.

(Back at the Pride Lands, Janja and his clan wake up after a long nap as they stretch before leaving to track down the Lion Guard as Ushari and the vultures look around in places on where the footprints are linking to)

  • Janja: Ah, yeah. What a nap from yesterday.
  • Chungu: Ooh. I feel like a rock.
  • Cheezi: Feeling kinda weird from last night.
  • Mzingo: Good morning Janja. We got a morning report to report.
  • Janja: Ugh. A morning report? Is that what the hornbill Zazu always report to the kings every day? We could have eaten him for lunch.
  • Mwoga: He always look like lunch like a flamingo! *laugh*
  • Tano: Gosh, we could have eaten a zebra for breakfast.
  • Nne: Or a buffalo. *laugh* Heh, who still eat buffalo wings?
  • Cheezi: Not me.
  • Chungu: Sometimes.
  • Janja: Hey! Fur-brains! We're talking here! We're leaving right now to find the lions. Keep an eye on the footprints on where the tracks could be heading.
  • Cheezi: Alright Janja. We'll listen.
  • Chungu: You seem kinda cynical.
  • Janja: Don't. Even. Ask. I got this on my way.
  • Mzingo: I believe we should be heading forward.
  • Mwoga: Yeah yeah. No elephants or antelopes on the way.
  • Janja: Any report to inform?
  • Mzingo: The path is clear and we're good to go on the coast.
  • Janja: We're not in the water. But okay, we're going.
  • Cheezi: Let's ride.
  • Chungu: Onward.
  • Ushari: *stretch* Yeah. Let's get this party started.
  • Janja: *sniff on the ground* Heh heh heh. I will be getting into you soon, Kion. *growls*

(Back with the Lion Guard, Timon and Pumbaa, the gang wake up on a cave while yawning and stretching before continuing off their journey to find Simba's pride)

  • Bunga: *yawn* Morning everyone.
  • Timon: Gosh. I have a itch on the back.
  • Pumbaa: *stretch* Ah. Am I tired too soon?
  • Timon: Pumbaa, we just woke up.
  • Pumbaa: Oh. I thought we were going to exercise.
  • Beshte: Gotta get my hips on.
  • Fuli: What a relief. The sun is up.
  • Ono: Ooh. My feathers are shivering.
  • Fuli: I had a crazy dream last night when Kion became king.
  • Bunga: Wait, what?
  • Beshte: Kion's the king? Since when?
  • Ono: I didn't hear any of this in my sleep story.
  • Fuli: Don't you understand. I had a dream when Simba and his family came back and Kion was hailed as a hero.
  • Timon: Kion's a king now? I thought Kiara was gonna be the princess.
  • Pumbaa: I hope she become the first ever female Lion King to lead the monarchy.
  • Timon: Hey, there's no such thing as a female Lion King. She would have been a Lion Queen in the future like her mother.
  • Pumbaa: Oh, that.
  • Fuli: You don't know what Kion is doing.
  • Bunga: Or, we don't know where Simba and his pride are headed to.
  • Timon: Duh, we raised him for years. He got a very special meeting to attend to.
  • Pumbaa: I wanna see what the lions are gonna put up like assembling the puzzle pieces all together.
  • Ono: Sun's up. We better head out and check what's going on. *fly* Let's go!
  • Beshte: *he and everyone follow Ono* The adventure continues now.
  • Fuli: *sign* We are gonna see just what kind of an adventure Kion's having.
