Chapter 2 is the second chapter of The Lion King IV: Subira's Beginning by MarioFan65.

Plot[]
(On their way to the Water Hole, Subira and Jengo were walking together, passing by rocks and hills as Zazu show up flying and land on the grass to talk to Subira and Jengo)
- Subira: The Water Hole gotta be around here.
- Jengo: I mean, it's far away.
- Zazu: *land on the grass* There you kids are. Where are you going?
- Subira: We're going to the Water Hole.
- Zazu: No way. You two are not going alone without a parent. You should get killed by some predator and enemy like a Outlander.
- Jengo: A Outlander? I thought all of the Outlanders joined the Pride Lands a month ago after the fight with Zira.
- Zazu: She was crushed by a log in a river of the Gorge. I heard there is another pride similar to the Outlands and located near the meerkat colony Timon used to live and dig tunnels with his family.
- Jengo: Who's Timon?
- Subira: A lion like us?
- Zazu: He is not a lion, but he is a meerkat. He has three friends named Pumbaa, Mody and Dacey. Pumbaa is a warthog and Mody and Dacey are meerkat brothers. Mody and Dacey joined the Pride Lands a while ago to apply for more volunteers like Timon and Pumbaa.
- Subira: Oh. I get it.
- Jengo: I know what you're talking about.
- Zazu: Anyways, we're now at the Water Hole.
- Jengo: Cool.
(Subira, Jengo and Zazu arrive at the Water Hole, a water source area for animals to chill out and drink some water during their break)
- Zazu: Welcome to the Water Hole. This is where you can get your water and play around with a lot of friends.
- Jengo: This place is quite familiar. My dad told me that Simba and Nala went to the same place few years ago when bursting into song mode.
- Zazu: Simba and Nala used to bother me there when they were cubs. And i can't stand them while chasing them off during their run.
- Subira: Yep, this is where you can get water.
- Jengo: It's kinda fun.
- Zazu: Yes.
- Subira: We're just going to chill out.
- Zazu: Okay kids. Be safe. I will get Timon, Pumbaa, Mody and Dacey for you to watch over while you play along and play tag if you like.
- Subira: Thank you Zazu.
- Jengo: Come on Subira, we're gonna play around the Water Hole.
- Subira: Why not run around the corner?
- Jengo: I'll love a good chase.
- Subira: Eh, why not?
(Back at Pride Rock in a den, Timon, Pumbaa, Mody and Dacey are inside, trying to count the fruits and vegetables they collect during their hunt)
- Mody: Okay, grubs, fruits, vegetables, and many more.
- Dacey: Vegetables? We don't eat vegetables.
- Timon: Oh hello boys, what brings you here?
- Mody: We are just setting up camp.
- Pumbaa: Camp? I don't think we should set up camp at Pride Rock.
- Dacey: What about here? *see a broken cave, Timon and Pumbaa used to went*
- Timon: Oh, that cave is used for our dream home until a pack of singing animals ruined it.
- Pumbaa: Yep and our Hakuna Matata is our fun time when we needed to.
- Dacey: We have been looking for you for years.
- Timon: Oh great. You brothers can be always good.
- Mody: You say?
- Dacey: That's just great.
- Timon: Thanks.
- Dacey: Good for you Timon. Especially you Pumbaa.
- Pumbaa: Thanks man.
- Mody: You're welcome.
- Dacey: How about we hang out?
- Mody: Sure. Let's go. We don't have enough time today.
- Timon: Okay then, no worries.
- Pumbaa: Are you guys coming or what?
- Mody: Oh sure. Cut to the chase to the motto. We'll go anytime.
- Dacey: No, but a doubt.
- Zazu: *show up* Hello meerkats and Pumbaa. Subira and Jengo are on the run. You guys need to babysit one of them while we're out looking for them.
- Timon: Oh great Zazu. Now you're going to make us babysit for them.
- Mody: Guys, let's go! Simba told us we have to check on the cubs of Kiara and Kovu.
- Timon: You didn't tell me Kiara and Kovu have cubs. What if they're another cub that is no related to them?
- Dacey: Who knows Timon. Let's just keep an eye out.
- Timon: You got me thinking.
- Pumbaa: Here we go to another adventure.
- Zazu: We'll keep an eye.
(Subira and Jengo explore through the grass lands, walking through the rocks and little river on the side)
- Jengo: Can i pin you?
- Subira: You can't really catch me first.
- Jengo: I'm faster than a cheetah cub. You would catch me in seconds.
- Subira: How do i expect to know?
- Jengo: You know. I'm a very fast lion with a great skill of running. Who's the fastest of the pride?
- Subira: You know i am.
- Jengo: Just take a look at yourself and keep on running.
- Subira: You just beat me to the challenge.
- Jengo: I'll race ya.
- Subira: You can catch me all you want.
- Jengo: Don't cheat yourself.
- Subira: How am i cheating?
- Jengo: I'm gonna getcha good!
- Subira: It's not a race!
- Jengo: I run in the face of danger!
(Three strange lions, with black manes and yellow furs walk in and hide on the rock to spy on Subira and Jengo chasing each other)
- Strange Lion #1: Well, well, well. Strange little cubs in the wild.
- Strange Lion #2: They look as fierce as their parents.
- Strange Lion #3: Someone is going to get a nice brooze of meat in their paws.
- Strange Lion #1: I got my claws open on them. *open up his claws in his paws*
- Strange Lion #2: The eyes on the cubs.
- Strange Lion #3: Who cares about them? We should just go and leave them all alone.
- Strange Lion #1: Wait. What if the king didn't want us to go after these Outsiders?
- Strange Lion #2: They're not Outsiders, are they?
- Strange Lion #3: The Outsiders merged with the Pridelanders a month ago after the dead of Zira.
- Strange Lion #1: In that case, we're going to play some little fierce on them.
- Strange Lion #2: Who's scared of the big bad lions now?
- Strange Lion #3: Press to the precious.
(Subira and Jengo chase each other all over to the savanna as they run all across the sand in that area)
- Subira: Sand!
- Jengo: Are we going to fall in quicksand?
- Subira: No! It's sand! It's like dust, but in sand!
- Jengo: Sand is just like crushed up tiny rocks and shells.
- Subira: Duh. It's what they are for.
- Jengo: It wouldn't be easier to get the sand stick up like mud and clay.
- Subira: It's nothing like laughing in the face of danger. Ha ha ha ha.
- Strange Lion #1: *roar to confront Subira and Jengo*
- Subira: Uh oh.
- Jengo: Stranger danger.
- Strange Lion #1: Where are you cubs going? Trespassing the Pride Lands is a threat to the other side of the world.
- Subira: There is no other side.
- Jengo: You mean like the Outlands?
- Strange Lion #2: Outlands? Eh, why don't you come back where you came from?
- Jengo: We were just having a little fun.
- Subira: We didn't meant to step into your side.
- Strange Lion #3: Our side? Who side is it?
- Strange Lion #1: It's nobody side. Back off! No one's trespassing our pride!
- Subira: Jengo, i don't like the looks of this.
- Jengo: They're mean and fierce.
- Subira: Run! *run with Jengo*
- Strange Lion #1: Hey! They're getting away!
- Strange Lion #2: Don't make them leave!
- Strange Lion #3: After them!
(Subira and Jengo run around the rocks as the strange lions chase after Subira and Jengo, going through the Gorge by passing through the trees and rocks)
- Subira: We got them away, right?
- Jengo: They're still chasing us!
- Strange Lion #1: I'm not leaving without a snack!
- Strange Lion #2: You're mine, babies!
- Strange Lion #3: They're not babies, they're children.
- Strange Lion #1: Children, I say!
- Subira: Help us!
- Jengo: We need help!
- Strange Lion #1: Aw. No one is going to rescue you now. We're the big guys! Who's scared of the scary cat now?
- Strange Lion #2: I want the fur!
- Strange Lion #3: We're going after our own species, are they?
- Strange Lion #1: Who cares. We bad lions are born to kill.
- Subira: Bad lions?!
- Jengo: I thought the lions are good.
- Subira: There's good and bad in every one of us.
- Jengo: We gotta go.
- Subira: We'll make a way to escape!
(Timon, Pumbaa, Mody, Dacey and Zazu are on the run to search for Subira and Jengo as they are in the grasslands close to the Gorge)
- Timon: There's a cut ledge of the side.
- Pumbaa: That's the Gorge.
- Mody: Where did the cubs go?
- Dacey: No sign of them. Maybe we're in the wrong place.
- Zazu: We're trying to look for them. We don't know where they are.
- Timon: Well, we gonna babysit them. It's part of our jobs!
- Pumbaa: Just like we babysit Kiara during Simba's pride.
- Mody: *hear voices* What am i hearing?
- Dacey: Lion sounds. Roar sounds.
- Subira: *voice* Help us!
- Mody: That sound like Subira!
- Zazu: Subira! And who else?
- Jengo: *voice* They're getting closer!
- Dacey: Jengo!
- Timon: *spot the cubs getting by the three strange lions* They're being chased by bad lions!
- Pumbaa: Not our babies!
- Zazu: Come on! We have to stop these far-siders from chasing the children.
(As the meerkats, Pumbaa and Zazu reach to the other side of the Gorge, Subira and Jengo reach a dead end to the Gorge as the three strange lions walk slowly to prepare their killing for Subira and Jengo)
- Subira: Dead end Jengo.
- Jengo: There's no way out.
- Strange Lion #1: Here kitty kitty kitty.
- Strange Lion #2: Over here.
- Strange Lion #3: We'll love a good meat out of you.
- Subira: Stay away from us.
- Strange Lion #1: Oh. Who's the little baby got to do with you?
- Jengo: Back off!
- Strange Lion #2: *use his claws to scratch the ground* Get over here. We're not done messing with you yet.
- Strange Lion #3: Where is my brain?
- Jengo: *growls*
- Subira: Jengo, i don't know where these lions come from. But they want to push us into their bend of bad.
- Jengo: Subira, we can survive this. All i gotta do is roar. *roar*
- Strange Lion #1: Ooh. Who roar like a little baby cub?
- Jengo: *roar* Roar with me.
- Subira: Okay. I guess. *roar*
- Strange Lion #2: They can't even roar like a king and queen. *laugh with his friends*
- Zazu: Halt!
- Strange Lion #1: Is that a bird?
- Timon: Hey! You! I'm talking to you! Leave the kids alone!
- Strange Lion #1: Is that a meerkat? *laugh*
- Pumbaa: *slide down with his friends* I'm looking at you.
- Strange Lion #2: A warthog?
- Mody: Pumbaa, do the special power thingie.
- Dacey: Throw them away.
- Pumbaa: Don't make me bump on you.
- Strange Lion #3: You're trying to bump us? You're the one messing with your own team. You're actually putting your team in danger.
- Pumbaa: You big bullies! You know what this means! *turn back at the strange lions*
- Strange Lion #1: The what?
- Pumbaa: *pass out gas to the strange lions* Sumo!
- Strange Lion #1: Aw! Gross! What was that stink!
- Strange Lion #2: He's throwing a stink bomb at us!
- Strange Lion #3: Back to the Asis Pride! *run away with his friends*
- Subira: Pumbaa, that was awesome.
- Jengo: Do it again. One more time.
- Pumbaa: *show his glare face at the cubs*
- Subira: Uh, Pumbaa? What's wrong?
- Jengo: Why are you showing your face like that?
- Timon: Kids, kids, kids. You know your mothers and fathers don't allow you to go near out of the Pride Lands.
- Mody: You're walking way too far close to the deadly areas like the Outlands.
- Dacey: Very disappointed in you two.
- Subira: What did we do wrong?
- Jengo: We were just brave enough to scare those guys out of here.
- Mody: Oh what were you thinking. You two are in trouble. Not just in trouble, BIG TROUBLE!
- Subira and Jengo: What?
- Zazu: Oh yeah. The king would like to have a talk with you, even your families.
- Pumbaa: Let's go kids. Out of the Gorge, now!
- Subira: Okay Uncle Pumbaa.
- Jengo: Jeez, what these animals have to be mean like that?
- Subira: We were out of the Pride Lands like crossing out of the red line.
- Jengo: My mom's gonna kill me when he see the look of my face.
- Subira: No worries Jengo. I think everything's gonna be alright. They're gonna be upset at first, but after all these hours, they'll feel okay.
- Jengo: What could possibly go wrong?
