The Lion King Epic Trilogy (TLKET) is a trilogy of the Lion King Semi Canon franchise and the 2044 remake of original The Lion King, Lion King 2 and the some important parts of the Lion Guard show. It was released at the 50th anniversary of the original Lion King. New characters were added in such as Hasnaa, Kimba, Alix, Kopa, Raja and Chumvi. It spans through the reign of King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi to the future reign of Princess Kiara and Kovu.

Plot

Prince Simba is born to King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi and is destined to be king. However his uncle, Scar murders King Mufasa for the position of king and manipulate Prince Simba for being guilty about his father’s death. Prince Simba ran away under Scar‘s orders. He soon gets adopted by Timon and Pumbaa who raised him with a carefree philosophy called “Hakuna Matata.“

Meanwhile at the Pridelands, Sarafina and Mkali gave birth to Mheetu (Nala’s younger brother), and Mkali died due to starvation. This leaves Nala and Mheetu heartbroken. Years later and Nala left the deserted pridelands to find help. She finds her lost friend, Prince Simba and falls in love with him. Prince Simba and Nala returned to the Pridelands to fight Scar for the position of king and defeats him. (The hyenas killed him.) Simba is crowned the king and Nala is crowned the queen.

6 months later, Prince Kopa is born, the heir to the throne. He meets Vitani, the daughter of Zira and Chumvi and Asante, a female hyena and becomes friends with them. Then Princess Kiara is born and Prince Kopa loved her very much. One day, Zira attacked and chased Kopa out of the pridelands and he felt like he should never return. Simba banishs Zira and her pride after Zira said that she killed Kopa. Meanwhile, Azaad, a male cheetah found a collapsed Kopa at the desert and took him to the Tree of Life to get healed.

Then Princess Kiara meets Kovu, an outsider and the son of Zira and Chumvi. King Simba found her with Kovu and confronts Zira, whom she says that Kovu is the heir of the Pridelands. Simba scolds Kiara and takes her back to Pride Rock. After that, Prince Kion is born to King Simba and Queen Nala. A few months later, he became leader of his own Lion Guard. (The first Lion Guard since the fall of Scar’s Lion Guard.) He and his guard rescues many animals are being threatened wrongly by the Circle of Life. At the Wet Season, he celebrates Christmas with some of the Pridelanders.

At the early Dry Season, Ushari (a cobra) and Janja’s Clan brought back Scar as a ghost. Scar sends Sumu, a scorpion to sting Simba and he almost die from it, though he was saved in the last minute, thanks to the volcanic ash. Kion and his guard meets Scar and tells the news to King Simba and Queen Nala. They also tell Mufasa’s ghost. Scar’s Army becomes stronger and now has Reirei’s Pack and Kiburi’s Float. In response, Jasiri, a younger sister of Asante forms the hyena resistance to defeat Scar. Prince Kion forms his Pridelanders Army. At the final battle 1 year later, Ushari leaves Kion with a scar, Scar is defeated for good and Janja changes side and start to have feelings for Jasiri.

Meanwhile Prince Kopa, at the Tree of Life with Chumvi, Himal and Adri goes on a long journey to get healing flowers for Princess Rani’s Grandmother, who will die without them. Kion makes a long journey with his guard to heal his scar, which could turn him evil like Scar.

When Princess Kiara hunts for the first time, a fire outbreaks in the Pridelands which almost consumes her. Luckily, Kovu ‘rescued‘ her and took her to safety.

Meanwhile Kion and his Lion Guard arrived at the Tree of Life. When Bunga accidentally caused a rockslide, the Night Pride fought the Lion Guard and didn’t let them in. However after persuading from Queen Janna and Rani’s deceased parents, they welcomed them in. Nirmala started Kion’s healing of the scar and Princess Rani took the others on a tour. When an army of predators arrived at the Tree of Life, Kion and Rani fought them off. Princess Rani was furious at Prince Kion for letting them in.

One day, before Prince Kopa and the other Lion Guard members return with the healing flowers, Queen Janna unfortunately passed away. This leads Princess Rani and her family heartbroken. The next evening, Rani is crowned the queen of the Tree of Life. She doubts she would make a great queen. But Prince Kion comforts her. Weeks later, Queen Rani and Prince Kion falls in love. Kion faces a difficult decision wether to return to the Pridelands or stay at the Tree of Life.

Meanwhile in the Pridelands, Princess Kiara and Kovu starts to have feelings for each other. When Kovu ruined Zira’s plan of him killing King Simba, Zira and her pride led an ambush on King Simba and Kovu. King Simba fell into the gorge and escapes Zira’s pride by climbing over logs to get out. This results in Nuka being crushed to death by logs. Janja and Jasiri quickly saw this and started traveling to see Azaad and start to travel to the Tree of Life, to warn Kion’s Lion Guard. Zira exiles Kovu from her pride for ruining her plans. King Simba, Queen Nala and all the Pridelanders exile Kovu from the Pridelands. with nowhere to go, Kovu walks away into the distance. In the evening, Princess Kiara escapes Pride Rock to find Kovu. She finds him on the border of the Pridelands. Kiara and Kovu quickly fall in love. Meanwhile Zira’s Pride started a war Simba’s Pride near the gorge. Just as Zira almost kill Simba, Princess Kiara and Kovu jumped in to demand peace, Zira’s Pride joined Simba’s Pride again and Zira completed the circle of life in a watery gorge. With Kion’s absence, Vitani forms her own Lion Guard with some of her friends. Princess Kiara and Kovu have their wedding.

Meanwhile, at the Tree of Life, Jasiri, Janja and Azaad warned Kion’s Lion Guard about Zira’s upcoming attack. Kion and his Lion Guard rushed back to the Pridelands. However the battle had already concluded. Kion and his Lion Guard started a competition with Vitani’s Lion Guard, but in the end, Vitani’s Lion Guard won. Tiifu and Imara, who got together since Zira’s defeat gets married.

Kion and Rani gets married at the Tree of Life and Kion gets crowned king of the Tree of Life.

One day, Prince Kopa and the rest of the Night Pride returned to the Tree of Life. He was shocked and saddened that there was a new king and queen of the Tree of Life. Azaad tells Kion that Kopa is his older brother and that Zira had been defeated, meaning that the Pridelands is now safe for Kopa. Kopa decided to return to the Pridelands and Azaad went alongside him. At the Pridelands, everyone was shocked to see him alive. Kopa then falls in love with Vitani. It was decided that Princess Kiara was still going to be queen since Kopa missed out on so much training.

7 months later, Princess Kiara and Kovu have their first born son, Prince Bakari, second in line to be king. A few months later, they had Princess Akina, the second born daughter and the future leader of the Lion Guard. Prince Kopa and Vitani had two daughters, Maua and Ishara.

At the Tree of Life, Kion now have a full mane and had three cubs, Prince Raja, the heir to the Tree of Life, Princess Janya, the future leader of the Night Pride and Prince Moto, the third born.

On a mission to the North of the Pridelands, near the Northern Pride in North Africa, Vitani’s Lion Guard discovers a lost white starving lion cub. He had been abandoned due to his white appearance. Tiifu and Imara adopts the abandoned lion cub and named him Kimba. Princess Kiara ask her parents for the position of Queen but Simba and Nala said that they are yet to reach the age Kings and Queens are eligible to retire. Queen Nala starts Princess Kiara’s extensive training to become queen.

12	Rescue of Prince Kopa		After Zira severely injured Kopa and chased him out of the Pridelands, a male cheetah named Azaad rescues him. He takes him to the Tree of Life to get healed. Prince Kopa was determined to stay away Simba’s Pride and Zira for the rest of his life.
13	We are one		Princess Kiara travels to the Outlands (ditching Timon and Pumbaa), and meets an outsider named Kovu.
14	Return of the Roar		Prince Kion, the third cub of King Simba and Queen Nala is tasked to form his own Lion Guard and to defend the Circle of Life.
15	Christmas in the Pridelands		During the wet season Timon and Pumbaa brought Christmas to the pridelands. It used to be only celebrated by the animals in Europe and North America.
16	Scar’s Return		During the beginning of dry season, Ushari (a cobra) and Janja’s Clan brought back Scar, the murderer of King Mufasa.
17	Jasiri’s Hyena Resistance		In response to many outsiders joining Scar’s new army, Jasiri, a female hyena creates a new Hyena Resistance to hopefully defeat him.
18	Pridelanders Unite		With Scar’s Army growing stronger everyday, Prince Kion tries to assemble his own army of Pridelanders.
19	A Hyena’s change of heart		After Jasiri saved Janja from falling into the lava of a volcano, he daydreams of joining her Clan.
20	Battle of the Pridelands		Kion and Kiara grows up into teenagers. Janja and his Clan joins Jasiri’s Clan. The Pridelanders battle through Scar’s Army to get to the volcano to defeat Scar once and for all.
21	A Very Long Mission		Chumvi, Prince Kopa, Himal and Adri (lions of the Night Pride) goes on a very long journey to gather golden healing flowers for the Night Pride to cure a terrible illness.
22	Journey to the Tree of Life		When Kion got bitten by Ushari and left a scar and Ono eyes gets clogged up with clog, Kion, Fuli, Bunga, Ono, Besthe, Anga and Makini all travel to the Tree of Life to get healed.
23	Kiara’s first Hunt		Kiara (now an late teen) hunts for the first time of her life alone, when a fire starts, Kovu (now a young adult) rescues her.
24	Welcome to the Tree of Life		Princess Rani and her pride finally welcomes Kion and his Lion Guard to the Tree of Life after Bunga accidentally caused a rock slide at the entrance of the Tree of Life. Nimala started Kion’s healing while the rest of the guard went on a tour with Princess Rani.
25	Long live the Queen		Rani becomes queen after the former queen, Janna passes away. Rani doubts her ability to be queen.
26	Of the Same Pride		Prince Kion falls in love with Queen Rani and Rani proposes to her. However, Kion faces a difficult decision whether he wants to return to the Pridelands or stay at the Tree of Life.
27	Kovu’s Exile		After Princess Kiara starts to have feelings for Kovu, Zira and her army of lions attacked Kovu and Simba. This caused in Nuka’s death and results in Kovu getting exiled from the Pridelands.
28	Love will find a way		After escaping from Pride Rock at the beginning of night, Kiara finds Kovu outside the border of the Pridelands. The two quickly fall in love.
29	The Great Battle		Zira and her pride starts a war with Simba’s Pride. Jasiri and Janja quickly saw the battle and went with Azaad to the Tree of Life to warn Kion’s Lion Guard. Kiara and Kovu brought peace to the Pridelands and Kiara said to everyone that “we are one” Zira’s pride ended up joining Simba’s Pride and Zira completed her journey in the Circle of Life.
30	Kiara and Kovu’s Wedding		Vitani forms a new Lion Guard with her best friends and Princess Kiara and Kovu have their wedding.
31	Return to the Pridelands		When Azaad, Jasiri and Janja arrived at the Tree of Life to warn Prince Kion and his Lion Guard about Zira’s attack, they rushed back to the Pridelands as quickly as thy can. However the battle had already concluded.
32	Battle of the Lion Guards		Kion’s Lion Guard and Vitani’s Lion Guard have a competition to see who is the best Guard. Tiifu and Imara also gets married.
33	Kion and Rani’s Coronation		Kion and his former Guard returns to the Tree of Life. Kion becomes king of the Tree of Life and marries his love, Queen Rani. Jasiri also falls in love with Janja back at the Pridelands, Fuli falls in love with Azaad and Bunga falls in love with Binga.
34	Kopa’s Return		When Prince Kopa, Chumvi, Adri and Himal returned from their misson to get golden healing powers, Prince Kopa met the king and queen of the Tree of Life, Kion and Rani. When Azaad meets up with the Night Pride, he says to King Kion that Prince Kopa is his older brother and that Zira had been defeated meaning that the Pridelands is safe for Kopa. Ultimately, Prince Kopa returned to the Pridelands to stay with Azaad helping him. Everyone is shocked, and he reunites and falls in love with lost friend, Vitani. Azaad then returned to the Tree of Life, saying that his mate, Fuli needs him there.
35	The Circle of Life Continues		Princess Kiara and Kovu, who are now older adults present their first born son, Prince Bakari, 2nd in line to be King. Several months later, their present their second born cub, Princess Akina, the future leader of the Lion Guard (to replace Vitani eventually.)
36	Kopa and Vitani’s Cubs		Prince Kopa and Vitani had two cubs. Maua, the older daughter and a future huntress and Ishara, the younger daughter and a future cub rarer. Maua and Ishara loves playing with each other.
37	Kion and Rani’s Cubs		King Kion and Queen Rani are now young adults, and Kion got a full mane. They have three cubs, Raja, the first born son and future queen of the Tree of Life. Janya, the second born daughter and future leader of the Night Pride. Moto, the third born son and the one who accidentally found the Roar.
38	The Conclusion		Princess Kiara and Kovu ask King Simba and Queen Nala if they are allowed become queen and king. They said once they become 11 years old (the age which kings and queens are allowed to retire), they will allow them. Simba and Nala also said that they don’t have long because they are 10.7 and 10.6 years old. Queen Nala prepares and trains princess Kiara and Kovu to be queen and king. Meanwhile on a Lion Guard mission to the north, Vitani, Kopa and the rest of the guard discovers a lost white lion cub. Tiifu and Imara adopts him and names him Kimba.
