This chapter is called "Raising Kiara".

Plot[]

(Timon, Pumbaa and Simba run through the jungle as Zazu follow them by passing on logs, lakes, rivers, bridges and a series of rocks while leaving the jungle through a speed run)

  • Timon: Woo hoo! Ride like the wind!
  • Pumbaa: Adventure awaits here!
  • Simba: It's too early to tell an adventure when we have a presentation to go to.
  • Zazu: I hope we're not too late for the show.
  • Timon: It's only hours away to get to the big pointy rock!
  • Pumbaa: Straight outta the jungle!
  • Simba: Got a bit of a jump-start from the jungle.
  • Zazu: You said it.
  • Timon: I could get used to some exercise right now.
  • Pumbaa: Passing by rocks and in with the leaves.
  • Simba: That's the good old motto here.
  • Zazu: Here come some fresh air!

(Timon, Pumbaa, Simba and Zazu leave the Hakuna Matata jungle as they run through the savannah with the birds flying and elephants, zebras, antelopes and flamingos running at the same time)

  • Timon: Oh yeah! The fresh air!
  • Pumbaa: Now we got some sun!
  • Simba: It's always cool when you needed some heat.
  • Zazu: As long the dry season doesn't get close to us.
  • Timon: I can feel the skylight!
  • Pumbaa: Feel the sky!
  • Simba: We're closer to home by any chance.
  • Zazu: Any day now. We'll be on a good run.
  • Timon: Nothing can stop us on our jump start.
  • Pumbaa: I'm riding like a horse!
  • Simba: We'll be in the Pride Lands in few hours.
  • Zazu: The fun never stop here.
  • Timon: Pride Rock isn't far from where we are.
  • Pumbaa: And we're going there right now.
  • Simba: No time for pass stops.
  • Zazu: Pride Lands, here we come!

(Timon, Pumbaa, Simba and Zazu run all the way to the Pride Lands as they arrive at Pride Rock as they are greeted by Rafiki and the rest of Simba's pride on the entrance)

  • Rafiki: Look. Our friends are back.
  • Nala: Simba!
  • Simba: Nala! *mate Nala*
  • Nala: Welcome back.
  • Simba: Sorry that I took so long to get here. We were in a bit of a hurry because of those two.
  • Timon: You know us. We're always rushing to get there.
  • Pumbaa: Yeah. Ten times the charm.
  • Zazu: It doesn't get any better when you run out of your shoes.
  • Rafiki: Ha ha ha. It been a long time. Glad you all showed up on time.
  • Simba: How's the baby Nala?
  • Nala: You won't believe it. The baby's coming.
  • Simba: Really? Oh my gosh! That's so awesome!
  • Sarabi: Congratulations my grandson.
  • Safafina: You deserve a award.
  • Simba: Mufasa would have been so proud if he was here right now.
  • Timon: The moment, is so beautiful.
  • Pumbaa: I could really cry right now. *he and Timon cry*
  • Zazu: Oh come on! Why do you have to cry like this when good news happen?
  • Timon: It's okay. We're having a moment.
  • Pumbaa: They feel the love today.
  • Simba: Oh boys. Please.
  • Nala: Let them shine.
  • Rafiki: It's almost time.
  • Simba: Yeah, I know.
  • Sarabi: That's my royal son.
  • Timon: Okay, that is cute.
  • Pumbaa: Like tears shivering from the eyes.
  • Zazu: Thank god, you stopped crying before you soak me with tears and get me sick.
  • Timon: Couldn't said it better myself.
  • Pumbaa: I'm fresh.
  • Zazu: *annoyed* Weirdos.
  • Rafiki: Friends, we are gathered today that Simba and Nala are gonna be having a child. And that child will be royal to the Pride Lands on the day of its birth. *make everyone cheer*
  • Simba: Thank you Rafiki.
  • Rafiki: My friend. *hug Simba*
  • Timon: Best friends forever.
  • Pumbaa: Hakuna Matata!
  • Zazu: Everyone said it best. No worries!
  • Simba: So Timon and Pumbaa, got any plans?
  • Timon: Yeah. Uh, we are think of a surprise cake for your newborn cub.
  • Pumbaa: A sweet filled sundae treat with grubs!
  • Simba: A grub cake?! Uh... okay? I can go with that for the ceremony tomorrow morning.
  • Timon: We'll cook the dessert on time.
  • Pumbaa: But we can't cook the cake right now. It's too early to bake.
  • Timon: Of course, we can cook ahead of time.
  • Pumbaa: What does being ahead of time actually mean?
  • Timon: You know the answer. Setting up before the actual day.
  • Pumbaa: What if we cook it late?
  • Timon: Then we won't make it on time to the ceremony.
  • Pumbaa: I see you have a point. We gotta prepare the cake before the next morning.
  • Rafiki: Take your time, it's not rush.
  • Zazu: You only had a day to prepare.
  • Timon and Pumbaa: A day?!
  • Simba: The ceremony is tomorrow. You guys don't have enough time to cook before dark and the next morning.
  • Timon: Wait wait wait. Hold on a second. You said the ceremony is in few days.
  • Pumbaa: So is the baby coming right now?
  • Simba: Tomorrow. You gotta be here on time with the cake.
  • Timon: Got it.
  • Nala: Don't be late.
  • Pumbaa: Yes sir!
  • Rafiki: Make sure it doesn't trip and fall as a fruit hat.
  • Zazu: Don't let any of the picking birds try to grab the grubs.
  • Timon: We won't let you down.
  • Pumbaa: Affirmative!
  • Sarabi: Be sure to be back by morning.
  • Timon: We will.
  • Sarafina: Don't let us down.
  • Pumbaa: We promise.
  • Zazu: Oh, you're not gonna let us all down, are you?
  • Timon: Do you even have to ask?
  • Zazu: Prove it.
  • Rafiki: There will be more time to think.
  • Nala: Thank you guys for coming. I really appreciate it.
  • Pumbaa: You too.
  • Simba: Where will you guys bake a cake?
  • Timon: Oh, somewhere around the savannah, there is a oasis we can use to make a cake.
  • Pumbaa: It's gonna be quick.
  • Zazu: Good luck on the cake. You're gonna need it.
  • Rafiki: It take time to make and cook.
  • Timon: Come on Pumbaa. Let's go find a place to make a cake.
  • Pumbaa: Right behind you.
  • Simba: Good luck boys. You're gonna need it.
  • Nala: You think they're gonna handle well on the cake?
  • Simba: I trust them.
  • Nala: Good to know.

(Timon and Pumbaa left Pride Rock as they ride through the savannah to find a oasis to make a cake in)

  • Timon: Ooh wee. We just passed through our goals and running around the savannah.
  • Pumbaa: I like the sound of that.
  • Timon: I hope we find a small oasis to make a cake in.
  • Pumbaa: I'm down for it.
  • Timon: Oh look, a oasis. Let's go!
  • Pumbaa: Right on time.

(Timon and Pumbaa found a small oasis with a waterfall as they arrive to search for grubs to set up the cake)

  • Timon: Ah yeah. The perfect oasis it is.
  • Pumbaa: It's a little small, but it's still the falls to me.
  • Timon: What could possibly go wrong with the falls? This place got plenty of stuff like a diet Jungle Oasis.
  • Pumbaa: We'll start right here from scratch where the bugs are.
  • Timon: Ooh wee. Look at all the grubs on the dirt.
  • Pumbaa: Slimy.
  • Timon: The perfect recipe is gonna be cooking up for success.
  • Pumbaa: Let's go get the plates!
  • Timon: Do we really need plates?
  • Pumbaa: Uh... no?
  • Timon: Then we're not eating. We're eating.
  • Pumbaa: Oh. My bad.
  • Timon: Anyways, let's cook.
  • Pumbaa: Slime me in!
  • Timon: *pass out the leaves on the rock* Okay, first up, the leaves.
  • Pumbaa: It's like making an lasagna.
  • Timon: I know. Add in the grubs.
  • Pumbaa: Splendid!
  • Timon: Don't forget the juice.
  • Pumbaa: Wing me up.
  • Timon: Got the worms.
  • Pumbaa: Ooh. The juice still taste like turkey juice.
  • Timon: Ho ho ho. It look like a pancake.
  • Pumbaa: With a lot of spice and sauce added in.
  • Timon: And we're done. Whoa, you call that a cake?
  • Pumbaa: That's a lot of work we added in.
  • Timon: I'm sure, everyone at Pride Rock is gonna love it when we show up with the cake tomorrow.
  • Pumbaa: We won't be late as always.
  • Timon: As long the night comes.
  • Pumbaa: Better luck the sleep.

(At night, Timon and Pumbaa place the grub cake on the rock storage in the small oasis as the duo is getting ready to sleep for the night)

  • Timon: Today we have a long day.
  • Pumbaa: We've been working for hours.
  • Timon: But it doesn't stop our appetitie from here.
  • Pumbaa: Neither is eating some grub sandwiches with steak. *eat a grub sandwich with steak on top*
  • Timon: Who knew dinner taste well on a diet?
  • Pumbaa: Uh... I wanna go healthy.
  • Timon: Pumbaa, this is healthy. We don't eat sugar and fat all day. We exercise, like the antelopes.
  • Pumbaa: I thought walking is a exercise.
  • Timon: It is, but you gotta step up on your feet!
  • Pumbaa: How about running?
  • Timon: Yes. And jogging.
  • Pumbaa: Like cardio?
  • Timon: Something like that.
  • Pumbaa: Man, am I getting tired right now?
  • Timon: Yeah. I feel a bit sleepy and droopy in here.
  • Pumbaa: Too much work is making us tired.
  • Timon: Let's go to sleep.
  • Pumbaa: Right behind you.
  • Timon: *yawn* This feels like the perfect time to sleep.
  • Pumbaa: I get ya.
  • Timon: Oh well better. We're off for the day.
  • Pumbaa: Yeah. Goodnight Timon.
  • Timon: Sweet dreams.
  • Pumbaa: Don't let the bed bugs bite tonight.

(As Timon and Pumbaa went to sleep, few hours have passed as the gang wake up for a bit, yawning while getting a drink of water at the pond)

  • Timon: Is it morning already?
  • Pumbaa: No, but it's still dark outside.
  • Timon: I felt like we slept a little too early for the night.
  • Pumbaa: I thought we usually wake up when the sun is up.
  • Timon: Not like when there's a new baby coming and the ceremony would bring everyone together. *realize something* Ceremony?
  • Pumbaa: Timon, the ceremony's today!
  • Timon: Oh my gosh! We're a little late!
  • Pumbaa: It's a land rush, we gotta go!
  • Timon: Come on!
  • Pumbaa: Grab the grab cake and we'll roll out!
  • Timon: *grab the grub cake while hopping on Pumbaa* Eureka. Now hit the road.
  • Pumbaa: No worries! *run out of the oasis as the animals all bear down on the savannah*

(The background song "He Lives In You" by Lebo M plays as Timon and Pumbaa races through the savannah on their way to Pride Rock)

  • Timon: Hope we're not too late like last time.
  • Pumbaa: Hopefully the crowd is small this time cause, I'm not a crowd-type person.
  • Timon: You're really gonna bring up that secret weapon of yours, do you?
  • Pumbaa: Not this time.
  • Timon: Then make way to the lion rock!
  • Pumbaa: Onward and upward!

(Timon and Pumbaa run through a log bridge, pass by a anteater herd, pass by the lake with the hippos, pass by the birds in the pond, pass by the hills with the dung beetles and reach all the way to Pride Rock on their way)

  • Timon: Pride Rock!
  • Pumbaa: Oh, baby. We're almost here!
  • Timon: Faster Pumbaa, faster!
  • Pumbaa: Almost there.
  • Timon: Glad we're here on time.
  • Pumbaa: Hold on! *stop running*

(A record-needle scratching sound accompanies them screeching to a halt as the suddenly see that Pride Rock is surrounded by hundreds of animals like last time as the background song end)

  • Timon: No! Why why why!? Why does it have to be people?!
  • Pumbaa: We're late. We always show up late on parties and events.
  • Timon: It's your fault! Why didn't we sleep over from yesterday?
  • Pumbaa: We were tired! We need to make a cake before the coneration.
  • Timon: Well we shouldn't stay here and show up back before dawn.
  • Pumbaa: How are we going to get pass through these animal-goers?
  • Timon: Let's head over to the rock while we're at it.
  • Pumbaa: I can't.
  • Timon: Why Pumbaa?
  • Pumbaa: I'm still not great at being with crowd. I mean, I'm not so well with crowds. They make me nervous and give me a panic attack!
  • Timon: Calm down Pumbaa! We live at Pride Rock now. You know, take the shortcut to the back where we can meet up with the lions.
  • Pumbaa: Timon, you're right! The shortcut is the perfect place to travel through the rock.
  • Timon: Let's call it a day and go into the big pointy rock. Let's go!
  • Pumbaa: I gotta feeling!

(Timon and Pumbaa pass through the animals around while taking a shortcut to Pride Rock)

  • Timon: We made it. Isn't it that easy?
  • Pumbaa: Yeah. In your face animals! *blow a raspbery* Ha ha ha ha!
  • Timon: Alright buddy. You win. You don't have to bring your secret weapon over.
  • Pumbaa: At least I didn't have to use a rest-stop to throw a low effort.
  • Timon: *stuggle to carry the grub cake* Uh, Pumbaa? The cake's getting real low.
  • Pumbaa: It's falling apart?
  • Timon: No! I can't carry it. It's too heavy. A little help here!
  • Pumbaa: I got it. *he and Timon try to hold the cake* Come on.
  • Timon: Don't fall.
  • Pumbaa: Steady.
  • Timon: Don't look back!
  • Pumbaa: *see a worm crawling* Ooh, worm. *slurp on the worm*
  • Timon: Pumbaa, what are you doing? *accidetally drop the grub cake* Aah!
  • Pumbaa: What happen?!
  • Timon: Oh... no! It's ruined! The grub cake! It's a mess!
  • Pumbaa: We worked hard on this! How are we going to redo the whole thing?
  • Lioness #1: *show up with the other lionesses, disgust on the cake* Oh great Timon and Pumbaa. Way to ruin the surprise cake.
  • Lioness #2: It even got bugs in it. *disgust* Ugh!
  • Lioness #3: Luckily, we didn't have to eat the whole thing before it turn out to be a disaster.
  • Timon: I'm sorry. We tried.
  • Pumbaa: And I thought the cake was a letdown.
  • Sarabi: Oh, everyone make mistakes. At least, you tried.
  • Sarafina: Mind as well not want to eat that on the ground.
  • Timon: Ugh, forget it. We're already an hour late to the ceremony anyways.
  • Pumbaa: Anyways, how's the snacks cooking?
  • Sarabi: Uh... good?
  • Sarafina: I like mine with bacon.
  • Zazu: *fly over* Welcome, Timon and Pumbaa.
  • Timon: Oh, hi Zazu. I didn't know you were here.
  • Pumbaa: We're always invited, right?
  • Zazu: Holy brain feathers! What have you done to the cake?!
  • Timon: We drop it cause, we were rushing to the ceremony.
  • Pumbaa: Also, that cake is too heavy to carry for a pig and meerkat.
  • Zazu: Why did you dropped it?!
  • Timon: Oh Pumbaa. Why did you drop it?
  • Pumbaa: You should have grab it while standing on me.
  • Timon: Don't blame me, blame yourself!
  • Pumbaa: What does being part have to do with it?
  • Timon: You were being distracted. It's your fault too!
  • Pumbaa: What does the conversation have to do with the topic that has nothing to do with Simba's pride?!
  • Zazu: Guys, Rafiki is holding the baby.
  • Sarabi: Oh my gosh.
  • Sarafina: It's so cute.
  • Timon: It's the baby! We gotta see it.
  • Pumbaa: Come on.
  • Zazu: Oh man. How are we going to clean this mess up? I'll go embrace the master. *fly to Rafiki, Simba and Nala*
  • Timon: *he and Pumbaa stand nearby the lions* Here we are Pumbaa.
  • Pumbaa: It's like we're watching a show on backstage.
  • Timon: And there goes the baby.
  • Pumbaa: Aw, it's a sweet guy.
  • Timon: Who would love to have a baby like the cub?
  • Pumbaa: Even for a piglet.
  • Timon: *stretch down on Pumbaa's hair* Oh yeah, I feel more like it.
  • Pumbaa: I thank the royal lion family for their newborn cub in the family tree.
  • Timon: Ah, Pumbaa, look at that little guy. A chip off the old block! And you gotta know who's gonna raise 'im...
  • Pumbaa: His parents?
  • Timon: *pause* Okay sure, get technical. But who's gonna teach him the really important stuff? Like how to belch? *burp* And dig for grubs? *jumps down* I'm telling ya, buddy... it's gonna be like old times. You, me... and the little guy.
  • Rafiki: *chuckles* It is a girl.
  • Timon: ...Girl.
  • Timon and Pumbaa: Girl?! ...Oy! *collapse in a dead faint*

(Right after the ceremony, Timon and Pumbaa open their eyes as they see Simba, Nala and Rafiki with Kiara, checking if they're okay)

  • Rafiki: You guys okay?
  • Timon: Why does it has to be a girl?
  • Pumbaa: I thought it was going to be a boy.
  • Simba: Do you guys like our new daughter?
  • Timon and Pumbaa: Uh...
  • Nala: What are we going to name her?
  • Rafiki: Pick the names, boys.
  • Timon: Fine. Aisha.
  • Simba: Uh... no.
  • Pumbaa: Shani.
  • Nala: Nah.
  • Timon: Fluffy?
  • Rafiki: Nope. Already was used for another cub.
  • Pumbaa: Kopa?
  • Simba: That's a boy's name. We need a girl's name for a meaning.
  • Nala: I got one. How about we name her... Kiara.
  • Timon: Kiara?
  • Pumbaa: Is that a girl's name?
  • Rafiki: Yes. Kiara means princess.
  • Timon: So the new guy is a princess, right?
  • Pumbaa: No way. If the brother was born, he would have been a prince by then.
  • Simba: Kiara, welcome to the world. Meet my uncles, Timon and Pumbaa.
  • Kiara: Ti.. Pu...
  • Pumbaa: It's Pumbaa and Timon. No, I mean, Timon and Pumbaa!
  • Timon: Words rhymes.
  • Nala: Say hi Kiara.
  • Kiara: Hi!
  • Simba: Aw. She's so cute.
  • Nala: She look just like me when I was her age.
  • Rafiki: Ha ha ha! Baby Kiara! I like it!
  • Timon: Hey baby! Who's the baby! Look who's here? It's your favorite brave meerkat and warthog.
  • Pumbaa: Sup.
  • Kiara: Ah!
  • Nala: Aw.
  • Simba: That's our baby. Timon and Pumbaa, I want you guys to take good care of Kiara.
  • Timon: We'll act like the babysittters!
  • Pumbaa: We'll do a good job protecting her.
  • Nala: Protect her at all costs. We believe in you.
  • Simba: You guys are gonna have great time with the baby cub for seasons.
  • Timon: We can go fishing, dancing and catch some grubs.
  • Pumbaa: Isn't the baby too young to eat?
  • Rafiki: *feed a orange slice to Kiara* Here you go, young one.
  • Kiara: *eat a orange slice* Ah.
  • Pumbaa: Aw, she's so cute.
  • Timon: She's so gorgeous.
  • Pumbaa: She was just like Simba when he was a cub.
  • Timon: I know right. *sobs with Pumbaa*
  • Nala: Boys.
  • Kiara: *laugh* Ah!
  • Simba: That's Timon and Pumbaa to ya.
  • Rafiki: Any journey worth telling is worth telling twice. She will be just like you when she grows up in the future.
  • Simba: As long she's in our age, she'll be hunting for any other animal.
  • Nala: It take time to train.
  • Timon: We got a lot of things to do, Kiara.
  • Pumbaa: We have a future set in place.
  • Kiara: Ah.
  • Simba: Kiara, Timon and Pumbaa will take good care of you.
  • Nala: She knows already.
  • Simba: I heard.
  • Rafiki: Let the cub play with the meerkat and warthog.
  • Timon: We got something for you, baby sweet cub.
  • Pumbaa: You're gonna love it.
  • Kiara: Ah.

(Timon, Pumbaa, Simba, Nala, Kiara and Rafiki head over to the play room at Pride Rock with a bunch of toys laying on the ground)

  • Timon: Surprise!
  • Pumbaa: Here we are to your play room.
  • Kiara: Ah!
  • Simba: Welcome home.
  • Nala: I hope she likes it.
  • Rafiki: Hoo hoo hoo. We made it with love.
  • Timon: You can go out and play, little girl. *place Kiara down*
  • Kiara: *crawl to the yarn* Ah!
  • Pumbaa: Aw, she likes it.
  • Timon: She is so adorable.
  • Pumbaa: She give me the chills.
  • Simba: Look at the toys we made.
  • Nala: We almost never made toys when we were cubs, even when Mufasa was king.
  • Simba: Mufasa would have been here by now to see all of this.
  • Rafiki: He is happy from above in the sky.
  • Simba: He lives in me.
  • Nala: He does.
  • Timon: Easy there, fella.
  • Pumbaa: We have a paddle stick for you to play with.
  • Kiara: *play with a paddle stick* Ah.
  • Timon: You want something to eat?
  • Pumbaa: Give him a bacon strip or a chicken wing.
  • Timon: Pumbaa, she's a cub. She can't eat solid food just yet.
  • Pumbaa: Why not?
  • Rafiki: Oh ho ho! She got something better to eat. *hold a mango fruit*
  • Timon: Ooh.
  • Pumbaa: Wow.
  • Rafiki: Hey little girl. I got a treat for you. *feed the mango fruit to Kiara*
  • Kiara: Ah.
  • Simba: She likes it.
  • Nala: Cubhood is really starting to get smooth.
  • Rafiki: Have more if you give. *give another mango to Kiara*
  • Kiara: *eat the mango* Ah.
  • Rafiki: There goes the cub.
  • Timon: Kiara is so cute.
  • Pumbaa: The cutest lion cub we ever seen.
  • Timon: One day. She's gonna grow bigger like us.
  • Pumbaa: Much like Simba was in the jungle.
  • Timon: You and me, bud. We have a future to make.
  • Pumbaa: What kind of things we'll do to Kiara.
  • Timon: Anything.
  • Pumbaa: As long it's family-friendly.

(For seasons, Timon and Pumbaa took care of Kiara at Pride Rock as Timon feed her some grapes with Pumbaa using some balls to play with Kiara. Kiara crawl on the grass while chewing on a worm and spit it out, disgusting Timon and Pumbaa. Kiara also play in the little pool with Timon and Pumbaa at the watering hole as well walking through a log bridge and eating some gummy-like grubs in the termite holes. Kiara is all grown to a cub as she try to roar at Timon, lick Timon and try to bite Timon in the rock, only to tease him. Simba and Nala play with Kiara in the grass land while the meerkat and warthog watch Kiara play with the parents.)

  • Timon: There goes Kiara.
  • Pumbaa: I can't believe she's all grown for a bit.
  • Timon: She's not an adolescent yet. She only got a few months to grow.
  • Pumbaa: Does it take years to grow like turtles?
  • Timon: Not quite really. Not all animals are the same you know.
  • Pumbaa: Oh. I thought the grass grow into weeds.
  • Simba: Over here Kiara.
  • Nala: Come on!
  • Kiara: I'm a speed lion!
  • Timon: Aw. Kiara.
  • Pumbaa: She's an angel.
  • Timon: Never make her go away.
  • Pumbaa: We'll always keep an eye on her.

(After a long day, Timon and Pumbaa head to their room at Pride Rock while setting up their nest beds with Simba checking by on them)

  • Timon: The perfect bed we need. Just like what we used to make at the small cave.
  • Pumbaa: It was going well until the noisy neighbors destroy it.
  • Timon: *mock* Noisy neighbors. We don't talk about them. *use his regular voice* Anyways, the future is going bright and the whole world is watching upon us!
  • Pumbaa: We finish all of our chores, completed our errands and pass the courses in order to get some free time.
  • Timon: That's how free time is achieved after working on a shifit.
  • Simba: *show up* Hey guys. Is anyone alright?
  • Pumbaa: Your majesty. We are doing just fine.
  • Timon: Is there a problem to report?
  • Simba: Oh, no. Thank you all for taking care of Kiara. I really accpreiate it.
  • Pumbaa: You're quite welcome.
  • Timon: Something's special about that kid. Have she been going off through some dangers before?
  • Simba: No, never. I'm aware how many times she's gonna run off when she grows up in the future.
  • Pumbaa: Like what do you mean? We do all the real work around here, babysitting all the animals in the Pride Lands and getting paid with grapes. Do you want us to work more hours?
  • Simba: Later. A while back, a bunch of old friends, like scvangers, tried to attack us.
  • Timon: Oh no. That's terrible!
  • Pumbaa: What they want from us?
  • Simba: My father once told me that there are dangerous places we should never go to. There are concerns going on in the Pride Lands. Something has to do with the hyenas since the fight at Pride Rock.
  • Timon: *shrieks* Hyenas?! No! I hate hyenas! I already dug up a hole to throw them all out seasons ago.
  • Pumbaa: I thought most of them burned to death while we were fighting them.
  • Simba: Not just the hyenas. Almost all of them have ran off and some have been appearing rarely nowadays since I exile them all after Scar's reign. A fierce lion I knew was ever planning on coming back. You know what I'm talking about.
  • Timon: The Outcasts?
  • Pumbaa: A bunch of far-walkers that act like tourists and never travel to a place before?
  • Simba: It's the Outsiders. I exiled them all when they were loyal to Scar. One day, they may return and strike an attack against us.
  • Timon: No, no! Not them! They're scary.
  • Pumbaa: What's wrong, Timmy boy?
  • Timon: Don't say that name again. We'll talk more later. We just needed to get some sleep.
  • Simba: Okay, Timon. You don't have to worry about anything right now in the Pride Lands. I want you all to get some sleep and good night.
  • Pumbaa: You too my man.
  • Simba: Goodnight y'all. Have a nice night. I bet you guys have some babysitting to do in the morning.
  • Timon: More babysitting?!
  • Simba: That's part of your duty. Adios. *leave the room*
  • Pumbaa: Gosh, what Simba got in his mind?
  • Timon: Talking about babysitting. Do we ever get a day-off from the Pride Lands?
  • Pumbaa: Once in a while.
  • Timon: I haven't seen the faces of my friends and family for seasons.
  • Pumbaa: Eh, I like to stare at the grubs where I could eat them and never cared for my sounder since they kicked me out due to my bad gas.
  • Timon: Who cares. Let's just go to bed.
  • Pumbaa: Okie dokie.
  • Timon: Goodnight buddy.
  • Pumbaa: Sweet dreams.
  • Timon: No bed bugs will stop us tonight!
  • Pumbaa: And now, lights out! *make the fireflies fly off and turn the room dark*
