It was a peaceful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was patrolling Hapuna Valley.
“What’s Mari doing today?” Fuli asked.
“She’s with Kovu and Tani.” Kion said.
Kion glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded, and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.
"It's all clear." Ono said.
"Thanks, Ono." Kion said.
Fuli pressed her muzzle against Kion's cheek.
"I love you." She said quietly.
Kion's expression softened.
"I love you too." He answered.
Meanwhile, Kovu had met up with Vitani and Marigold inside the den.
They were settled down amongst the moss.
“How was the hunt, Tani?” Kovu asked.
“It was fine.” Vitani said.
She leaned over, and nuzzled Kovu’s cheek.
“I love you, Kovu.” Vitani said.
“I love you too.” Kovu answered.
Meanwhile, Nita had met up with Rafiki at his tree.
She was helping him sort borage leaves.
“How is your family?” Rafiki asked.
“Everyone’s fine.” Nita answered.
