It was a beautiful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was patrolling. Nyani Grove.
"How's Basi?" Kion asked.
"He's fine." Beshte answered.
Kion glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded, and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.
“Reirei’s Pack is attacking Sasem.” Ono said.
Kion and Fuli exchanged a glance.
“Where are they?” Fuli asked.
“They’re at Urembo River.” Ono answered.
“Let’s go, Lion Guard.” Kion said.
He led the way to Urembo River.
When they arrived, Kion bounded forward.
“Leave her alone, Reirei!” Kion called.
Reirei chuckled.
“Have we made a mistake?” Reirei asked.
Kion glanced at Fuli.
Fuli nodded, and moved forward.
She led Sasem towards Beshte.
Kion unsheathed his claws, and sank them into the earth underneath him.
He braced himself, and performed the Roar.
It sent Janja’s Clan toppling backwards.
Kion watched them stumble towards the border.
He glanced at Sasem.
“Are you okay?” Kion asked.
Sasem nodded.
“Thank you, Lion Guard.” Sasem said.
“You’re welcome.” Beshte said.
Meanwhile, Nita had met up with Rafiki at his tree.
She was helping him count juniper berries.
“How’s Makini?” Nita asked.
“She is fine.” Rafiki said.
Nita moved closer, and nestled against him.
“I love you, Rafiki.” Nita said.
Rafiki’s expression softened.
“I love you too, my darling.” Rafiki said warmly.
He pressed a palm against Nita’s cheek.
