It was a beautiful day in the Pridelands.

The Lion Guard was patrolling Kilio Valley.

"How's Mari?" Fuli asked.

"She's fine" Kion said.

He rubbed his muzzle against Fuli's cheek.

"I love you, Fuli" Kion said quietly.

"I love you too" Fuli purred.

Kion glanced at Ono.

Ono nodded, and took to the sky.

He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.

"Janja's Clan is attacking Nzuri" Ono said.

Kion and Fuli exchanged a glance.

"Where are they?" Beshte asked.

"They‘re at the Water Hole" Ono answered.

"Let's go, Lion Guard" Kion said.

He led the way to the Water Hole.

When they arrived, Kion bounded forward.

"Leave her alone, Janja!" He called.

Janja cackled.

"Why should we?" He asked.

Kion glanced at Fuli.

Fuli nodded, and moved forward.

She gently pushed Nzuri towards Beshte.

Kion unsheathed his claws, and sank them into the earth underneath him.

He braced himself, and performed the Roar.

It sent Janja's Clan toppling backwards.

Kion watched them stumble towards the border.

He turned to Nzuri.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

Nzuri nodded.

"Thanks" Nzuri said.

"You're welcome" Bunga said.

"If you'd like, I'll walk you home" Beshte added.

"Okay" Nzuri said.

Beshte led her towards Hapuna Valley.

Fuli turned to Kion.

"Can I visit Mari?" She asked.

Kion nodded.

They bade goodbye to Bunga and Ono, and headed towards Pride Rock.

When they arrived, Mari rushed to greet them.

Fuli's expression softened.

She bent down, and nuzzled Mari's cheek.

"How are you, Mari?" She asked.

"I'm fine." Mari said.

She grasped Fuli's paw, and dragged her into Kora and Vitani's cave.

Kion chuckled, and followed them.

Meanwhile, Simba and Nala had met up at the Meadow.

They were settled down underneath the baobab tree.

"How was the hunt?" Simba asked.

"Kia caught a gazelle" Nala said proudly.

Simba purred.

"That's wonderful" he said.

He extended a paw, and Nala nestled closer to him.

"I love you" Simba said.

"I love you too" Nala answered.
