It was a peaceful day in the Pridelands.

The Lion Guard was patrolling Hapuna Valley.

"How's Mari?" Fuli asked.

"She's fine" Kion said.

Kion glanced at Ono.

Ono nodded, and took to the sky.

He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.

"It’s all clear" Ono said.

"Thanks Ono" Fuli said warmly.

Kion sighed, and glanced up.

"I want to talk to Grandpa" he said.

"Go ahead" Fuli purred.

Kion cleared his throat.

"Grandpa, I want to speak with you!" He called.

He shivered as Mufasa's spirit embraced him.

”I’m here, Kion.” Mufasa said.

”I need to ask you something.” Kion said.

"What is it?" Mufasa prompted.

"Do you still have faith in me?" Kion asked.

Mufasa's expression softened.

"Of course. I love you Kion" he said.

"I love you too" Kion said.

He watched Mufasa's spirit fade away.

Fuli pressed her muzzle against his cheek.

"Are you okay?" She asked gently.

Kion nodded.

"Want to come to Pride Rock?" He asked.

Fuli's expression softened.

"I'd love too" she said warmly.

She and Kion bade goodbye to their friends.

When they arrived at Pride Rock, Mari rushed to greet them.

She pressed herself against Fuli's foreleg.

"Hi." She said.

Fuli purred, and bent to nuzzle her cheek.

"Are you having a good day?" Kion asked.

Mari nodded.

Meanwhile, Kenai and Kia had met up with Bemba at the Meadow.

They were settled down underneath the baobab tree.

"How was the hunt, Grandma?" Kia asked.

Bemba rubbed a paw against her cheek.

"It was fine" she said.
