It was a beautiful day in the Pridelands.

Kion and his family were heading to Mizimu Grove to attend a concert given by Matembo's Herd.

They were joined by Beshte, Fuli, and Ono.

Kion, Fuli, and Mari were walking together.

"This is your first concert, Mari. Are you excited?" Fuli asked.

Mari nodded.

"Do you think they'll do a song with loud trumpeting?" she asked.

Kion nodded.

"They always do a song with loud trumpeting. It's tradition." he said.

When they reached Mizimu Grove, Kion's family settled down on the ledge.

Beshte, Fuli, and Ono arranged themselves below them.

Matembo stepped forward.

"We're very pleased and honored to have all of you here to take part in our tradition." she said.

She turned to her herd, and they began to trumpet loudly.

Kion curled his tail around Mari's shoulders.

He leaned over towards Kiara.

"They're really good." he said quietly.

Kiara nodded in agreement.

When the concert ended, Kiara and Belee leapt down to join Matembo.

"That was wonderful, Matembo." Kiara said warmly.

"Thank you, Kiara." Matembo said.

She and Kiara watched Mtoto approach them.

"Hi, Kiara." Mtoto said.

Kiara's expression softened, and she bent to nuzzle Mtoto's cheek.

"Hi, Mtoto." she purred.

Belee pressed her muzzle against Matembo's foreleg.

Kion bent to grasp Mari's scruff, and carefully edged down the slope.

He moved to stand beside Fuli, and passed Mari to her.

"Did you like it, Mari?" he asked.

Marigold nodded.

Simba cleared his throat.

"I don't believe I've ever enjoyed anything as much as this marvelous performance." he said.

Matembo inclined her head.

"Thank you, King Simba." Matembo said.
