It was a beautiful day in the Pridelands.

The Lion Guard was patrolling the Flood Plains.

"How's Ameba?" Kion asked.

"She's fine." Fuli answered.

Kion glanced at Ono.

Ono nodded, and took to the sky.

He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.

"It's all clear." Ono said.

"Good job, Ono." Kion said warmly.

Bunga cleared his throat.

"I have to go. Grandma wants to see me." He said.

Kion nodded.

"Have a good time." He said warmly.

Bunga turned, and bounded off.

When he reached Pride Rock, he saw Ma settled down outside the den.

He moved forward, and pressed his muzzle against Ma's cheek.

"Hi Grandma." Bunga said.

Ma's expression softened.

"Hi Bunga." She said warmly.

Bunga settled down beside Ma.

"Did you have a good patrol?" Ma asked.

Bunga nodded.

"I need to ask you something." He said.

"What is it?" Ma prompted.

"Do you have confidence in me?" Bunga asked.

Ma nodded.

"I always have, and I always will." She said.

"I love you." Bunga said.

"I love you too." Ma said.

Meanwhile, Simba and Nala had met up at the Meadow.

They were settled down underneath the baobab tree.

"How was the hunt?" Simba asked.

"Kia caught an antelope." Nala said proudly.

Simba purred.

"That's wonderful." He said warmly.
