It was a peaceful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was patrolling Hapuna Valley.
"How's Ma?" Beshte asked.
"She's fine." Bunga answered.
Kion glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded, and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.
"It's all clear." Ono said.
"Thanks, Ono." Kion said.
Fuli pressed her muzzle against Kion's cheek.
"Can I visit Mari?" She asked.
Kion nodded.
They bade goodbye to their friends, and headed towards Pride Rock.
When they arrived, Mari rushed to greet them.
"Hi!" Marigold said brightly.
Fuli's expression softened.
She knelt down, and nuzzled Mari's cheek.
"Are you having a good day?" Fuli asked.
Marigold nodded.
"I'm really glad you're both here." Mari said.
"We're glad too." Fuli said warmly.
Kion moved forward, and knelt to nuzzle Mari’s cheek.
"What do you want to do?" He asked.
"Come inside and sit with me." Mari answered.
She led Kion and Fuli inside the den.
They settled down amongst the moss.
Marigold nestled against Fuli's pelt.
"I love you both." Marigold said.
Fuli and Kion exchanged a glance.
"We love you too." Fuli answered.
Meanwhile, Simba and Nala had met up at the Meadow.
They were settled down underneath the baobab tree.
"How was the hunt?" Simba asked.
"It was fine." Nala answered.
She leaned over, and nuzzled Simba’s cheek.
“I love you.” Nala said.
“I love you too” Simba answered.
Meanwhile, Nita had met up with Rafiki at his tree.
She was helping him sort borage leaves.
"How is Mari?" Rafiki asked.
"She's fine." Nita answered.
