It was a peaceful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was doing a patrol in Urembo Meadows.
"How's Basi?" Fuli asked.
"He's fine." Beshte answered.
Kion glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded, and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.
"It's all clear." Ono said.
"Great job, Ono." Kion said.
Fuli pressed her muzzle against Kion's cheek.
"I love you." Fuli said quietly.
Kion's expression softened.
"I love you too." Kion answered.
Meanwhile, Ayla had met up with Zuri and Marigold inside the den.
They were settled down amongst the moss.
“How was the hunt?” Zuri asked.
“It was fine.” Ayla said.
She and Zuri watched Marigold nestle against Zuri’s pelt.
“How are you feeling today?” Ayla asked.
Zuri sighed, and glanced down at her paws.
“It’s really hard.” Zuri said.
Ayla’s expression softened.
“I understand, Zuri.” Ayla said gently.
Meanwhile, Nita had met up with Rafiki at his tree.
She was helping him sort borage leaves.
“How’s Mosi?” Nita asked.
“He is fine.” Rafiki said.
