It was a peaceful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was patrolling Hapuna Valley.
“How's Mari?” Fuli asked.
"She's fine." Kion answered.
Kion glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded, and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.
"It's all clear." Ono said.
"Great job, Ono." Beshte said.
“It’s been really quiet lately.” Bunga said.
“That’s a good thing, Little B.” Beshte said.
Kion pressed his muzzle against Fuli's cheek.
"I love you." Kion said quietly.
Fuli's expression softened.
"I love you too." Fuli answered.
Meanwhile, Nita had met up with Rafiki at his tree.
She was helping him count juniper berries.
“How’s Makini?” Nita asked.
“She is fine.” Rafiki said.
Nita moved closer, and nestled against him.
“Can I talk to Grandad?” Nita asked.
Rafiki’s expression softened.
“Of course, darling.” Rafiki said.
Nita cleared her throat.
“Grandad, I want to talk to you!” Nita called.
She shivered as Atka’s spirit embraced her.
“I’m here, my darling.” Atka said.
“I want to ask you something.” Nita said.
“What is it, sweetheart?” Atka prompted.
Nita felt Rafiki press a palm against her shoulder.
“Do you have confidence in me?” Nita asked.
Atka’s expression softened.
“I always have, and I always will.” Atka said.
“I love you, Grandad.” Nita said.
“I love you too, Nita.” Atka said.
Meanwhile, Simba and Nala had met up inside the den.
They were settled down amongst the moss.
"How was the hunt?" Simba asked.
"It was fine." Nala answered.
