It was a beautiful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was patrolling Hapuna Valley.
“How's your family, Kion?" Beshte asked.
"Everyone's fine." Kion said.
Kion glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded, and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.
"It's all clear." Ono said.
"Thanks, Ono." Fuli said.
Kion cleared his throat.
“I want to talk to Grandpa.” Kion said.
Fuli’s expression softened.
“Go ahead and talk to him.” Fuli said.
Kion glanced up, and cleared his throat.
“Grandpa, I want to talk to you!” Kion called.
He shivered as Mufasa’s spirit embraced him.
“I’m here, Kion.” Mufasa said.
Kion felt Fuli press herself against his side.
“I love you, Grandpa.” Kion said.
Mufasa’s expression softened.
“I love you too. I’m very proud of how much you’ve grown.” Mufasa said.
“Thank you, Grandpa.” Kion said.
Meanwhile, Nita had met up with Rafiki at his tree.
She was helping him sort borage leaves.
“How’s Makini?” Nita asked.
“She is fine.” Rafiki said.
