It was a beautiful day in the Pridelands.

The Pridelanders were heading to Mizimu Grove to celebrate Kupatana.

Kion and Kiara were walking together.

“Who’s giving the contribution?” Kion asked.

“Kenai is.” Kiara said.

“That’s wonderful.” Kion said.

When they arrived at Mizimu Grove, Kion and his family settled down on the ledge.

The Pridelanders and the animals of the kingdom arranged themselves below them.

Simba stepped forward, and cleared his throat.

“As the royal contribution, my grandson will now give a speech.” Simba said.

He stepped aside and Kenai moved forward.

Kenai cleared his throat.

“I’m very pleased to be here with those I love most. I have always believed in the importance of protecting the Circle of Life, and caring for all that follow it.” Kenai said.

He glanced behind him at Kia.

“I believe that this is a very important lesson.” Kenai said.

As the animals cheered, Simba moved forward.

"I believe the celebration can begin." Simba said.

Rafiki stepped forward, and waved his staff.

The Pridelanders and animals of the kingdom watched the baobab flowers bloom.

Simba knelt down, and nuzzled Kenai’s cheek.

“I’m very proud of you, Kenai.” Simba said.

“Thank you, Grandpa.” Kenai said.

Behind them, Kopa and Clea exchanged a glance.

“That’s our boy.” Clea said.

Kopa nodded.

He watched as Kia leaned over, and nuzzled Kenai’s cheek.

“I love you, Kenai.” Kia said.

“I love you too.” Kenai answered.

Nala knelt down, and nuzzled Kenai's cheek.

“You were wonderful, my darling.” Nala said.

“Thanks, Gran.” Kenai said.

Bemba knelt down, and nuzzled Kenai’s cheek.
