It was a peaceful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was patrolling Hapuna Valley.
"How's Maple?" Beshte asked.
"She's fine." Fuli answered.
Kion glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded, and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.
"It's all clear." Ono said.
"Thanks, Ono." Bunga said.
Kion glanced at Fuli.
“Do you want to visit Mari?” Kion asked.
Fuli nodded.
They bade goodbye to their friends, and headed towards Pride Rock.
When they arrived, Mari rushed to greet them.
“Hi!” Marigold said brightly.
Fuli’s expression softened.
She knelt down, and nuzzled Mari’s cheek.
“Hi Mari.” Fuli said.
Kion moved forward, and knelt to nuzzle Mari’s cheek.
“Are you having a good day?” Kion asked.
Marigold nodded.
“I’m glad you’ve come back.” Mari said.
Fuli rubbed a paw against Marigold’s cheek.
“We’re glad too, my darling.” Fuli said warmly.
Meanwhile, Kenai and Kia had met up with Bemba at the Meadow.
They were settled down underneath the baobab tree.
"How was the hunt?" Kenai asked.
"It was fine." Bemba answered.
“I caught an antelope.” Kia said.
“That’s great, Kia.” Kenai said.
Meanwhile, Nita had met up with Rafiki at his tree.
She was helping him count juniper berries.
“How’s Midnight?” Nita asked.
“She is fine.” Rafiki said.
