It was a beautiful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was patrolling Ndefu Grove.
“How's your family, Kion?" Beshte asked.
"Everyone's fine." Kion said.
Kion glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded, and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.
"It's all clear." Ono said.
"Great job, Ono." Fuli said.
Kion cleared his throat.
“I have to go. Tani wants to see me.” Kion said.
Fuli’s expression softened.
“Have a good time.” Fuli said.
Kion turned, and bounded off.
When he reached Pride Rock, he saw Vitani settled down outside the den.
Kion padded forward, and stretched to nuzzle Vitani’s cheek.
“Hi Tani.” Kion said.
Vitani’s expression softened.
“Hi Kion.” Vitani said.
Kion crawled into Vitani’s paws, and nestled against her.
“How was the hunt?” Kion asked.
“It was fine.” Vitani answered.
She rubbed a paw against Kion’s cheek.
“Did you have a good patrol?” Vitani asked.
Kion nodded.
He pressed himself against Vitani’s pelt.
“I love you, Tani.” Kion said.
“I love you too, my darling.” Vitani answered.
She bent her head, and nuzzled Kion’s cheek.
Meanwhile, Nita had met up with Rafiki at his tree.
She was helping him sort borage leaves.
“How’s Mosi?” Nita asked.
“He is fine.” Rafiki said.
