It was a peaceful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was patrolling Kilio Valley.
"How's your family, Kion?" Beshte asked.
"Everyone's fine." Kion answered.
He glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded, and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.
"It's all clear." Ono said.
"Thanks Ono." Bunga said warmly.
Kion pressed his muzzle against Fuli's cheek.
"I love you." Kion said.
Fuli's expression softened.
"I love you too." She answered.
"Do you want to visit Mari?" Kion asked.
Fuli nodded.
They bade goodbye to their friends, and headed towards Pride Rock.
When they arrived, Mari rushed to greet them.
"Hi!" Mari said brightly.
Fuli's expression softened.
She knelt down, and nuzzled Mari's cheek.
"How are you, Mari?" She asked.
"I'm really glad you're both here." Mari said.
Kion moved forward, and knelt to nuzzle Mari’s cheek.
"We're glad to be here." He said warmly.
He and Fuli led Mari into the den.
Meanwhile, Simba and Nala had met up at the Meadow.
They were settled down underneath the baobab tree.
"How was the hunt?" Simba asked.
"It was fine." Nala answered.
She leaned over, and nuzzled Simba's cheek.
"Will you join the evening hunt?" Nala asked.
Simba nodded.
"I'd be glad too." He said warmly.
He extended a paw, and Nala nestled against him.
"I love you, Nala." Simba said.
"I love you too." Nala answered.
