It was a peaceful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was patrolling Hapuna Valley.
"How's Mari?" Fuli asked.
"She's fine." Kion answered.
He glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded, and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.
"It's all clear." Ono said.
"Thanks, Ono." Beshte said warmly.
Kion pressed his muzzle against Fuli's cheek.
"I love you." He said.
"I love you too." Fuli answered.
Meanwhile, Clea had met up with Kenai and Kia inside the den.
They were settled down amongst the moss.
"How was the hunt?" Kenai asked.
"It was fine." Clea answered.
Kia pressed herself against Clea's pelt.
"I love you, Mom." Kia said.
Clea's expression softened.
"I love both of you very much." Clea answered.
"Are you proud of us?" Kenai asked.
Clea nodded.
"I always will be." She said.
She extended a paw, and Kenai nestled against her.
Meanwhile, Simba and Nala had met up at the Meadow.
They were settled down underneath the baobab tree.
"How was the hunt?" Simba asked.
"Kia caught a mongoose." Nala said.
Simba's expression softened.
"I must observe their skills soon." He said.
"I'm sure they'll be honored." Nala answered.
She leaned over, and nuzzled Simba’s cheek.
