It was a beautiful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was patrolling Hapuna Valley.
"How's your family, Kion?" Fuli asked.
"Everyone's fine." Kion said.
Kion glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded, and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.
"It's all clear." Ono said.
"Thanks, Ono." Kion said.
Fuli pressed her muzzle against Kion’s cheek.
“Can I visit Mari?” She asked.
Kion nodded.
They bade goodbye to their friends, and headed towards Pride Rock.
When they arrived, Mari rushed to greet them.
“Hi!” Marigold said brightly.
Fuli’s expression softened.
She knelt down, and nuzzled Mari’s cheek.
“Hi Mari.” Fuli said.
Kion moved forward, and knelt to nuzzle Mari’s cheek.
“Are you having a good day?” He asked.
Marigold nodded.
“I’m so glad you’re both here.” Mari said.
“We’re glad too, sweetheart.” Fuli said warmly.
She rubbed a paw against Mari’s cheek.
“Come inside and sit with me.” Marigold said.
“Okay, Mari.” Kion said.
He and Fuli followed Mari into the den.
They settled down amongst the moss.
Marigold nestled against Fuli’s pelt.
“I love you both.” Marigold said.
“We love you too.” Fuli said.
Meanwhile, Simba and Nala had met up at the Meadow.
They were settled down underneath the baobab tree.
"How was the hunt?" Simba asked.
"It was fine." Nala answered.
Meanwhile, Nita had met up with Rafiki at his tree.
She was helping him count juniper berries.
“How is your family?” Rafiki asked.
“Everyone’s fine.” Nita answered.
Nita moved closer, and nestled against Rafiki’s side.
“I love you.” Nita said.
Rafiki’s expression softened.
“I love you too, darling” Rafiki said.
He pressed a palm against Nita’s cheek.
