It was a peaceful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was doing a patrol in Hapuna Valley.
"Has Mari met King Ahadi and Queen Uru yet?" Fuli asked.
Kion shook his head.
"She'll meet them soon" Kion said.
He glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later and settled down on Beshte's back.
"What'd you see?" Beshte asked.
"King Simba's playing with Nita and Mari at the Meadow" Ono said.
Kion's expression softened.
"Let's go to Huwezi Falls" Fuli suggested.
Meanwhile, Simba had taken his grandnieces to the Meadow to spend time with them.
They were settled down underneath the baobab tree.
"I want to meet Yeh-Yeh and Grandma Uru" Mari said.
"Darling, I know. Rafiki has to take you the first time. It won't be long" Simba said.
He leaned over and nuzzled Mari's cheek.
"What're they like?" Mari asked.
"They're wonderful, Mari" Nita answered.
Simba nodded in agreement.
"They are going to love you" he said.
Mari mewled and curled up against Simba's side.
"Papa, I'm tired"' Mari said.
"Let's go home" Simba said.
He stood up and bent to grasp Mari's scruff.
Meanwhile, Kora and Vitani had met up with Kenai and Kia at Hapuna Valley.
They were settled underneath a baobab tree.
"Aunt Tani, can we sleep in your den tonight?" Kenai asked.
Kora and Vitani exchanged a glance.
"It's all right with me" Kora said.
Vitani nuzzled Kenai's cheek.
"Darling, of course you can" Vitani said.
Kia pressed herself against Kora's side.
"Can we go home?" She asked.
Kora nodded and bent to grasp her scruff.
He and Vitani began to head to Pride Rock.
