It was a peaceful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was patrolling Ukuni Woods.
“How's Mari?” Fuli asked.
"She's fine." Kion answered.
Kion glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded, and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.
"It's all clear." Ono said.
"Thanks, Ono." Fuli said.
Kion cleared his throat.
“I have to go. Kiara wants to see me.” Kion said.
Fuli’s expression softened.
“Have a good time.” Fuli said.
Kion turned, and bounded off.
When he reached Pride Rock, he saw Kiara settled down outside the den.
Kion padded forward, and stretched to nuzzle Kiara’s cheek.
“Hi Kiara.” Kion said.
Kiara’s expression softened.
“Hi Kion.” Kiara said.
Kion crawled into Kiara’s paws, and nestled against her.
“How was the hunt?” Kion asked.
“It was fine.” Kiara answered.
She rubbed a paw against Kion’s cheek.
“Did you have a good patrol?” Kiara asked.
He pressed himself against Kiara’s pelt.
“I love you.” Kion said.
“I love you too, my darling.” Kiara answered.
Meanwhile, Nita had met up with Rafiki at his tree.
She was helping him sort borage leaves.
”Are Makini and Mosi okay?” Nita asked.
“The fire did not harm them.” Rafiki said.
“That’s wonderful.” Nita said.
She moved closer, and nestled against Rafiki’s side.
Rafiki pressed a palm against Nita’s cheek.
“I love you, my darling.” Rafiki said.
“I love you too.” Nita said.
