Taruo is an adolescent lioness. She is the only daughter of Chumvi and Kula, and the sister of Uhuru and Nkosi.
Physical appearance[]
Taruo is a smallish lioness. She has red eyes and long eyelashes. Her muzzle, chest, stomach and paws are a very pale cream color. She has dark brown fur, a dark magenta nose, and a large, white tuft of hair on her head. The insides of her ears are a reddish color, as are the rings around her eyes.
Personality[]
Taruo is sweet and friendly. She loves her family very much and is affectionate and playful towards them. She looks up to her older brother, Uhuru, and tries to get Nkosi to be less reserved. She loves meeting new people and has good manners.

- Just like her inspiration, her fur was also all brown once, as was her hair tuft.
- Her name was commonly misspelled as "Turuo" in Caldafox's old fanfictions.
- According to this site, Taruo's name is Japanese and means "barrel" or "tail".
- It is unknown where her hair tuft's color derives from.
