Simba is the son of Akili and Tumaini, as well as the Prince of Pride Rock. He is said to be the next life of Simba.

Personality[]

Simba is very much like his family, being brash at times, brave, as well as agile. He inherits a great sense of trust and honour from his father. He later learns to be gentle, caring, and peaceful. As an old cub, he has become more mature, often stopping to help someone out.

History[]

Before he was born, his great-grandfather Simba died. Akili, his mother, decided to call him Simba, since he was a boy, after the relative she loved so much. Simba spent a lot of time growing up with his mother and cousin Amira.

One day, his uncle Kidogo decided to retire from the royal family, since he wanted to live a peaceful life. Simba was now the heir to the throne after his mother! This made Simba more brash.

Soon he ran into two lions that were still Outlanders, Uumbaji and Kukua, as well as a hyena pack led by a famous killer Hatima. Simba was seriously injured, and had to go to the Tree of Life. There, he talked to the spirit of his uncle Giza for the first time, where he learnt to be less brash. He also met two Night Pride lions, Kitovu, the nervous one, and Bluu, the brave one.

Simba by this point was determined to be just like his ancestors. After Kiara and Kovu retired, Simba had the “Everything the light touches” speech.

He knew he was going to be a great king one day. And he was right. Following a conversation with Giza that led into the dusk, Simba walked back into the cave, before turning around and seeing his namesake for the first time. After promising that he would do his best for the Pride Lands, Simba headed back into the cave, as night fell.

If there’s one thing the Pride Lands need, it’s a great king. I knew from the moment I first saw you I wanted you to be named after the great king that was Simba. You have exceeded those expectations, my Little Prince. He lives in you.
