Salim is a male lion that lives in Leopon Plains. He is the brother of Ujuzi.
He is a minor character in Legends of the Lion Guard.
Appearance []
Salim has a brown pelt, while his muzzle, paws, and underbelly are paler in color. His mane is brown and his eyes are reddish-orange. His pupils are notably enlarged as a result of legal blindness.
Personality []
Salim is more of the quiet and shy type, preferring to let his brother do the talking. When he does talk, he is friendly and welcoming.

Backstory[]
Ujuzi and Salim were born to unknown parents in a territory some distance away from the Pride Lands. Before ending up in the Pride Lands, their parents died, and Ujuzi was trusted looking after Salim as their final wish. They were later given a home in Leopon Plains.

Felines on the Run[]
Salim and his brother, Ujuzi, are reported to be sheltering at the watering hole border by Zazu. Curious, the Lion Guard and Mhina go investigate, and find the lions to be friendly. Ujuzi introduces himself and his brother, explaining that he is Salim's protector, as the latter is blind. The two are taken back to Pride Rock, where they are introduced to Kion's parents. Ujuzi explains to Simba and Nala that he and his brother are looking for a new home, which Salim wants, and they are allowed to stay for as long as they want.
Kion asks Mhina if Ajani could shelter them in Leopon Plains, and he agrees, asking Zazu to inform him. Simba agrees as well, and Mhina adds that Ajani enjoys welcoming travelers. Kion leads the Lion Guard, Mhina, Makini, and the two traveling lions into the Lair, where they settle for a bit, and Salim asks what Leopon Plains is like. Zazu flies in and reports that Ajani has agreed to shelter Salim and Ujuzi, and the Guard, Makini, and Mhina begin to lead them there. After traveling past various landmarks, Ajani meets the lions and explains that he will shelter them, exciting Ujuzi and Salim.
