Registan is shown to be cautious and soft-spoken, with an inclination to become easily anxious or stressed when nervous.

Rani mentions that Registan and his herd live in Desert Plains. Later, Registan gets his hooves stuck in sand, and Anga, spotting him, informs the Lion Guard and Night Pride, who rush to help him, and Bunga digs him out, asking if he feels better. Registan, relieved, thanks him and walks off. That same day, his herd is attacked by the army of predators, but are rescued when Kion uses the Roar of the Elders to send them far away.
