Rani is a strong and capable leader, but growing up in wartime has her hanging onto hope with everything she can, even in the face of defeat. She is friendly, but sarcastic and serious to an extent, focused on the task at hand and rarely stopping for a break as the the situation involving her home grows ever dire.
