Rafiki was the Royal Mjuzi and Shaman of Pride Rock who succeed Amira and preceded Kitendo and Nefu. He is the son of Amira and an unnamed baboon and uncle of Fikiri.

Rafiki has dark blue-gray fur with a paler underbelly, darker arms and legs, a peach-colored muzzle, hands, and feet, and a white mane. His eyes are yellow.
