Pride Rock is a location featured in Legends of the Lion Guard: The Dark Prophecy and in Legends of the Lion Guard: Protectors of the Pride Lands. It is the home for Simba and his pride.

Composition[]
The Entryway[]
The entryway serves as the entrance and pathway to the royal den and the peak. It is located to the left of the peak and is surrounded by rocks, with a small pile of stones at its base. The ground of the entryway is made up of sand.
The Peak[]
The peak is the promontory that extends from the base of Pride Rock. It is the area where official business is conducted, including royal announcements, presentations, coronations, etc.
The Summit[]
The summit is the highest point on Pride Rock. It serves as a vantage point for the monarch to overlook his kingdom and its bordering territories.
The Royal Den[]
The royal den is a cave within Pride Rock. It serves as the official sleeping place for the monarch and his family. The monarch has a place at the back of the cavern where he and his family sleep, while the other members of the pride fan around him. The floor of the cave is lined with soft nests of moss.
The Lair of the Lion Guard[]
The Lair of the Lion Guard is a cave in Pride Rock. It serves as the official meeting place of the Lion Guard.
Regandi and Merah's Cave[]
This is a small den within Pride Rock that Regandi, Merah, and their family members live in.

The Orphans[]
The Lion Guard takes Hanisi and his siblings to Pride Rock, where Mahuluti greets them. After Kion returns from a solo patrol, he goes inside the den with Mahuluti to hear jokes and stories from Nyimbo with his family.
A Celebration in the Pride Lands[]
After resting in the Lair, Kion goes up to the peak of Pride Rock to speak with his family. Later, Mhina's family is taken to Pride Rock to discuss the treaty, and Mhina and his siblings are shown the Lair. The next day, everyone says goodbye to Mhina's family at Pride Rock.
The Pride Lands Games[]
Kion returns to Pride Rock upon learning that Simba wants to speak with him. He and the Lion Guard soon escort the Tree of Life delegation to Pride Rock, where both prides sleep together. After the Pride Lands Games conclude, Simba announces the winner at Pride Rock.
Team Play[]
The Lion Guard relaxes in the Lair. Kiara brings Kion to the peak, where he finds Mhina next to Simba. Later, Kion and Mhina race each other back to Pride Rock.
The New Heroes[]
The Lion Guard rests in the Lair, and they head to the peak to greet a special guest, who is Mhina.
Nguruma and the Bully[]
Kion and Nguruma talk to their parents, sister, and brother-in-law at Pride Rock, explaining what happened that day. The next day, after Nguruma defeats Mapigano, Nala leads him and Kion back to Pride Rock.
Kion and Nguruma's Birthday[]
Simba and Nala announce plans for Kion and Nguruma's birthday at Pride Rock. Later, they return there while waiting for their sons. The next day, the groups meet at Pride Rock before traveling to Mizimu Grove. Later, Kion leads his friends and family to the Lair.

In the Lair, Bunga tells the Lion Guard of a funny story involving Pumbaa from the previous day, and they listen sleepily. After he finishes, Kiara informs them that Simba needs them at the peak of Pride Rock immediately, and they head up there, meeting him, Nala, Kovu, Rafiki, and Makini. Simba explains that an event is being held in Mizimu Grove, leading the procession there to give them more information.

Legends of the Lion Guard: Battle for the Pride Lands[]
The Lion Guard, Mhina, Anga, and Jasiri return to Pride Rock after Nguruma, Hasani, and Shauri, soon resting in the Lair until learning of another crisis. Later, after rescuing her from a hyena attack, Kion sends Na'Zyia back to Pride Rock while he, the Lion Guard, Mhina, and Anga continue their patrol. Later, the Lion Guard, Mhina, and Anga return to Pride Rock with Nguruma, and settle inside the Lair. Soon after, the Lion Guard once again returns to Pride Rock with their allies to rest in the Lair, but their peace is disturbed when Makini urgently announces that Nguruma has been kidnapped by Kucha's Clan. Once he is rescued, Nguruma is taken back home by Beshte. When Jivin and a party from the Tree of Life arrive in the Pride Lands, the Lion Guard and their allies escort them to Pride Rock, where Jivin heads inside the den to speak with the Royal Family regarding the Outlander attacks. Shupavu and Njano, having seen them, report the information they have learned to Ushari, who in turn reports to Scar.
When confronted by Kion, Kiburi states that the Outlands will soon stretch to Pride Rock. After Kiburi's Float is defeated, Rani says they should return to Pride Rock, and Kion agrees. The two of them, along with Mhina and Baliyo head back there, and the Tree of Life party departs while the Royal Family heads inside. Kion and Mhina remain outside to talk with each other. Soon afterwards, the Tumaini Pride arrives in the Pride Lands, and are taken to Pride Rock, where Ajani and Ayo head inside the den to speak with Simba and Nala regarding the Outlander attacks. Later, Tatu suggests returning to Pride Rock, believing her parents are ready to depart. Kion, Mhina, and his siblings head back there, and the Leopon Plains party departs. While the others go inside the den, Kiara and Kion remain inside, and have a discussion about Kion's feelings for Mhina. When Kiburi argues with Kion, he retorts that the Outlands will soon stretch to Pride Rock. Once Kohana and Mahuluti are rescued, the latter takes her back home. After Rafiki discovers a mark that indicates Scar has returned, the Lion Guard heads to Pride Rock and enters the den so they can inform Simba and Nala of their discovery.
Later, the Lion Guard relaxes in the Lair, and Kiara takes them to the peak of Pride Rock to see Simba. He instructs them to fetch the kingdom delegations from the watering hole, and they soon return with them. The delegations settle inside the den to hear the news of Scar's return. After Maisha and Mahuluti are rescued, they return to Pride Rock, and the Guard and their allies, sans Kion and Mhina, follow. Soon, Kion announces the return of Scar returning to the Pride Landers at Pride Rock. When Nguruma is rescued from Reth's Pride, he is brought to Pride Rock, and settled inside the cave, where he is looked at by his family and the Royal Mjuzis. Upon finishing his conversation with Mufasa, Kion returns to Pride Rock, momentarily chatting with his family before heading inside the den to sleep. The next day, the Lion Guard assembles in the Lair, vowing to fight alongside Kion. They then head out on a patrol of Big Ravine. Once Zazu discovers Scar's forces invading the Pride Lands, he informs Simba frantically at Pride Rock, and he tells him to warn the Lion Guard. Soon, Zazu gathers the kingdom delegations at Pride Rock, and those who are unable to fight take refuge in Regandi and Merah's Cave. Shortly after she rescues Ayana, Fuli returns her to her grandparents at Pride Rock. Just a short while later, Kion's family is attacked at Pride Rock by Kucha's Clan.
Some of the Lion Guard, Mhina, his siblings, and Azaad rush over there to help them, and Bunga and Beshte arrive as well. They charge into the battle, eventually defeating Kucha's Clan and driving them off. Without warning, Scar appears in a fire, addressing the Pride Landers and warning that he can't be defeated before vanishing. Simba erases his mark in the ground and tells Kovu and Kora to check on everybody inside Regandi and Merah's Cave. A few minutes later, the crowd outside Pride Rock is still shocked over Scar's appearance. Suddenly, Ono reports that Reth's Pride is attacking Maumivu Thorn Patch, in addition to Mzingo's Committee attacking Acacia Grove. Mhina and his siblings rush off to Maumivu Thorn Patch while Fuli assigns the rest of the Lion Guard, sans Ono, and Jasiri to help her with the vultures. After Rafiki deems Mhina unable to participate in the battle any further, he says that he will stay at Pride Rock and rest. At Mapema Rock, Kiara informs Kion that Mhina is staying at Pride Rock for the rest of the battle. While explaining his backstory to Ushari, Scar said he returned to Pride Rock, where Mufasa ridiculed him. Following Scar's defeat, Fuli encourages Kion to return to Pride Rock. He dashes into the Lair, reuniting with Mhina, and Rafiki, Makini, Anga, the Lion Guard, and their families join soon after. Simba soon leads everyone out so Kion and Mhina have alone time.
Legends of the Lion Guard: The Dark Prophecy[]
Kion, sleepless inside the den, leaves Pride Rock and heads into a grassy field near it. After a mysterious spirit delivers him a prophecy, he returns to Pride Rock, settling on the peak and gazing up at the sky. Kiara joins him, and the two talk about what Scar said and Kion's blooming feelings for Mhina. Eventually, Kiara leads him back inside the den. The next day, the Lion Guard, Mhina, Makini, and Nguruma gather outside Pride Rock, which is surrounded by the Pride Landers. Soon, they set out on their journey to the Tree of Life, and at a distance, Kion glances at the outline of Pride Rock, whispering "Til the Pride Lands' end." Later, Amira and Koti prepare for their wedding at Pride Rock with their families, and once Amira sees that the pride has gathered, Simba leads them to Mizimu Grove. Following the wedding, the pride returns to Pride Rock, and Simba remains out on the peak with Nala. A little later, Ono recalls Fuli sending Kion to Pride Rock after the battle against Scar so he could see Mhina. During his conversation with Makini at Pratibimba, Nguruma tells her that he couldn't even go to the nearest place to Pride Rock without an escort, noting that Kiara thought he'd get "mauled" if he went out by himself. He also mentions that he was horrified to leave Pride Rock after nearly being drowned by Reth's Pride.
Weeks later, the Lion Guard, Makini, and Nguruma back to the Pride Lands, and upon reaching the Iroko Tree, Anga and Ono happen to locate Pride Rock, their families at the base of it. They quickly dash up to it, and while Kion and Nguruma head straight to the peak to greet their kin, the others hang back, though they eventually join them. Nguruma and Mahuluti also hide in a secret cleft and profess their love of each other, becoming mates. That night, Kion and the Royal Family speak to the spirit of Mufasa at the peak of Pride Rock, and once he disappears, they head inside to sleep.
