Penda is a female cheetah who lives at the Tree of Life. She is the daughter of Fuli and Azaad.
Physical appearance[]
Penda looks much like her father, with the same build, but has a head shape more similar to her mother's. She has a slightly pointed chin, brown ear tips, and a series of stripes on her forehead, like Fuli. Penda has a little more spots than Azaad and has her mother's eyes. She also has a brown nose and a lighter yellow muzzle, chest, stomach and paws. Her tail has stripes around it, like Azaad's.
Personality[]
Penda is a confident and boastful cheetah. Due to her name's meaning ("better") she always acts like she's better than everyone around her. Her best friend is Yun Mibu's son, Bào, although they live far away from each other. Penda is also friends with Safiya, Kopa and Vitani's daughter, Baliyo, and later on Badru. She is also close with her parents' friends, and above all loves to run and race.
Trivia[]
- Penda and Tani, despite being somewhat similar in personalities, are not the best of friends, because Tani is later jealous of the cheetah's friendship with Badru.
- Her catchphrase means, "Let's go!" in Swahili.
- She hates to be restricted from running and racing.
- She was named and created in 2019.
