Nyata is a female skink that used to live in the Pride Lands and now lives in the Outlands. She is a member of Shupavu's Group and a former member of Scar's Army.
She is an antagonist in Legends of the Lion Guard.
Appearance[]
Nyata is a slim violet skink with a purple underbelly and four magenta stripes across her back. Her eyes are a pale sky blue, underlined in purple just beneath and with a magenta marking just above. Two of her teeth stick out underneath, with one further back sticking out at the top. Her tongue is blue. On top of her head is a purple diamond pattern. Her limbs are purple and transition to a lighter purple towards her feet.

Nyata is quick and works with haste, and is a good listener to those who tell her to do something.

The New Heroes[]
Nyata and Shupavu watch as the Lion Guard complain about being replaced by Gina and Tapu. Deeming this information valuable, both of them report this to Reirei and Goigoi, who plot to take out Rafiki.
Legends of the Lion Guard: Battle for the Pride Lands[]
Nyata, along with a few other members of Shupavu's Group, meet with various other antagonists at Broken Rock and later the volcano. Later, Shupavu and Nyata spy on the Lion Guard as they meet up with the Tumaini Pride at Lake Matope, and return to the volcano to bring this information to Scar. When Scar commences his war on the Pride Lands, Shupavu's Group is present inside the volcano.
