Sarabi tells Kion that she's going to hunt in Ndefu Grove, heading off to do so. When he returns to Pride Rock, Kion mentions that Sarabi is hunting in Ndefu Grove. Later, Kion says that a team of Pride Landers will train at Ndefu Grove. Shortly after Scar commences his war on the Pride Lands, it is mentioned that some of the Lion Guard is handling Janja at Ndefu Grove.
