Queen Nala was the ruler consort of the Pride Lands who succeeded Sarabi and preceded Kovu. She is the daughter of Sarafina and Kaidi, the twin sister of Mheetu, the wife of King Simba, and the mother of Prince Kopa, Queen Kiara, and King Kion.

Nala is a sleek, well-built lioness with creamy fur, a paler muzzle and underbelly, and indistinct paws. Her eyes are teal.
