Premise[]
This is set prior to the forming of the Guard, when Kion and Fuli had begun dating. It is not uncommon for them to play games of chase which Fuli would always win. Kion ups the ante in one game, claiming that the loser is the winner's captive for life.
Story[]
Young love is blossoming on the Serengeti
So pure
So innocent
That was certainly true of the early romance of Kion and Fuli
Already, though they were young, they were already deeply enamored of one another
It is astounding to all who see it
This wasn't the way a long time ago
However, Kion is no ordinary lion
Love overcame the boundary between species
Rafiki has been informing Simba that it will be a love of legend
For now, however, it expresses itself in their cubhood games
Chase is their favorite
Fuli always wins
Then, one day, Kion ups the stakes
He tells her that whoever loses is the other's captive for life
Fuli can't resist a challenge
The race proceeds
As usual, she wins
Her speed is unparalleled
Her youthful attractiveness is sure to grow into wondrous, astounding beauty
Kion accepts it
Fuli nuzzles him
She then "claims" him
You are my captive for life, she says
Kion laughs
He could live with that
