Muhimu is a female zebra. She is the mate of Thurston, the mother of Hamu, Kwato, and Sanaa, and the leader of her herd.
She is a minor character in Legends of the Lion Guard.
Appearance[]
Muhimu's coat is striped with black-and-white, and she has a black diamond-shaped mark that runs down between her eyes, ending just above her muzzle. While her hooves, nose, and tail tip are black, her ears are white, and her eyes are blue. A magnificent black-and-white mane runs up her back and ends in several strands of black hair over her forehead.
Personality[]
At first, Muhimu is irritable and skittish, with an inclination for starting trouble. She is very impatient and crass, but is trusting and cares well enough to keep Thurston and her herd in line. She is also honest and will take responsibility for her own mistakes.

Legends of the Lion Guard: Protectors of the Pride Lands[]
The Orphans []
Muhimu and her herd are driven towards Big Ravine by Janja's Clan, but the Lion Guard stops the hyenas and Kion sends them back with the Roar. Thurston soon takes the herd back to Chakula Plains.
Wildfire Emergency[]
Muhimu's Herd is caught in a massive wildfire at Chakula Plains; the Lion Guard arrives to put it out, but thanks to Thurston, the zebras are in a panic. Bunga calms him down, but gets accidentally somersaulted into Muhimu, who trots around him and scolds Thurston for causing a fuss. She also points out that they can graze elsewhere, urging her mate to think with his head. Jasiri rallies everyone together, and stepping forward, Muhimu pledges that she and her herd will help put out the fires. They get to work, digging trenches in the ground. Once the Chakula Plains fire is extinguished, Muhimu and her herd promise to help put out the fire in Mbali Fields, and upon arriving there, Muhimu orders the zebras to help Ma Tembo's Herd with fire breaks.
