Melissa is a human girl who now resides at the Tree of Life after leaving her real family and being rescued by the Night Pride. She is the daughter of Callie and Luis, elder sister to Collin, and the adoptive daughter and cousin of the Night Pride. After being adopted, she grew very close to her adoptive parents, especially her dad, Surak.
Appearance[]
Melissa is a tall and well built young woman. She has dark hair, brown eyes, and pale skin. She also has light pink lips.
Personality[]
Melissa is a kind-hearted young lady. She is also quick-minded, as shown when she guided her family to the mountain pass outside the Tree of Life. She is also somewhat cowardly and overly apprehensive of ferocious animals such as the Night Pride (formerly). But, after the pride took her in, she grew less fearful and more outgoing. But, she is still slightly fearful of strangers.
In terms of Surak and Melissa's relationship, the two are very close. They help each other in tough situations, like when Surak comforted Melissa when her family left her. They have such a strong bond that they have pretty much grown inseprable. Melissa admires her father's knowledge for legends and folklore and Surak appriciates Melissa's respect, kindness and support for him and their family. Melissa does have strong bonds with the rest of her family however.
