Janja's Clan attacks Varya at Mekundu Cliffs, but they are defeated by the Lion Guard and their allies. This allows Varya to return to Ukuni Woods. After rescuing Kohana and Mahuluti from Kiburi's Float, Kion suggests a patrol in Mekundu Cliffs. Later, upon finishing the patrol, Mhina suggests another patrol in Urembo Meadows. However, Anga informs the group of Reirei's Pack and Janja's Clan going after Rafiki and Makini at Mapango Cliffs, and the Lion Guard and their allies head there instead.
