Legends of the Lion Guard: Protectors of the Pride Lands[]
Nguruma and the Bully[]
Mapigano emerges from a bush at Urembo River, facing Makini and Nguruma. He taunts the latter for his blindness, but the Lion Guard soon arrives on the scene. Kion warns Mapigano to stay away from his brother, but when he refuses, stating he isn't scared of a roar, Kion sends him flying back with the Roar of the Elders. He and Nguruma later inform their parents of what happened. The next day, Makini and Nguruma return to Urembo River, and Mapigano reappears again. He swats Makini away and pounces on Nguruma, scratching him. Both of them run away and find the Guard in Embamba Canyon.
Nguruma is trained at various places to feel more confident, strong, and relaxed, and soon, he is ready to face Mapigano again. They head back to Urembo River, where Mapigano asks if Nguruma's brother will defend him again. He says no, and the leopard growls that he's older, bigger, stronger, and has actual sight. Nguruma declares that he has confidence, and when Mapigano demands to prove it, the lion steps very close to him. Suddenly, Nala brings Uheri to the scene, and she marches up to her son, explaining that the queen had mentioned he was bullying Nguruma yesterday. Expressing her disappointment, Uheri drags Mapigano away by his scruff.
