Legends of the Lion Guard: The Dark Prophecy[]
Mama Binturong approaches Makucha's Leap and Ora's Bank at the Mountain Pass, introducing herself. She says that their techniques are too flawed for large attacks, and chuckling, she takes over as leader of the army. Shortly after, Mama Binturong says that it is time for their first attack, unconcerned about the Tree of Life's potential defenses. She then admits that they're waiting on one other ally to join them, and a sole porcupine appears - Smun. According to Mama, Smun has the sharpest quills of any porcupine and will help them win the fight. She begins to lead them through the Mountain Pass, which Ullu notices, and upon watching them target Cek's Flock at Winter Woods, she decides to warn the Night Pride; Rani recognizes Makucha and his leap. Once they find out everything, the Night Pride, along with Ullu, Kingiza, Mhina, and the Lion Guard, dash to Winter Woods and engage in a fight with the predators. During the battle, Mama Binturong directly confronts Bunga, warning him that there's no chance he'll win against her.
Bunga retorts that he's the bravest of all the Pride Lands, leaping at Mama and sending her flying into a tree. While she tries to claw him, he escapes, making her fall to the ground. Bunga remarks that she's gonna have to be faster, and Mama Binturong questions what he's going to do next. Suddenly, Bunga whirls around, unleashing his stink on her and making her hack violently. She orders the army to retreat, and they run away from Winter Woods. Kion realizes that Makucha and his friends followed the Lion Guard as well, much to Rani's ire, and Mhina points out that they never asked to be followed by them or Reth's Pride. Later, Mama Binturong watches as the army argues over what to attack next. Irritated with their constant bickering, she snaps at them to quiet down, startling the army. Referring to them as simpletons, she warns them that they will get nowhere if they keep arguing with each other, then mentions that she has a new plan - this time, they will ambush Bunga and get revenge on him. Khurdan and Chuluun are skeptical, not believing it is a smart plan, but she retorts that they'll deal with the Lion Guard and Night Pride by splitting them up so Bunga is alone. That way, she can finally have her retribution while the others can feast on rare animals. Satisfied, the army finally agrees with her plan. After Bunga is captured, Mama Binturong appears from behind him with Smun's Prickle. He asks if he defeated her previously, to which Mama introduces herself to him and threatens to get him and his friends.
Bunga spits that she and her porcupines don't scare her, but she orders them to attack, and they trap Bunga with their quills. With him handled, she commands them to take him away triumphantly. As they do so, Bunga murmurs his catchphrase, confusing Mama, who demands that he speak up. He repeats himself again, baffling the binturong, and after repeating himself a third time, he unleashes his stink on the porcupines and Mama. Bunga reveals that she underestimated him - his thick skin prevents him from sharp objects, including porcupine quills - meaning he was never restrained at all. He crouches down, asking if they want more of his stink, and shocked, Mama Binturong immediately calls for the army to retreat. Later, Ono admits that he thought he heard and saw Mama Binturong and the predators yesterday. Meanwhile, Mama meets with her army at the Mountain Pass, declaring that it's time for their most vicious attack yet. Makucha snorts that every single attack of theirs has failed, and unamused by his attitude, she silences him, determined they'll win this time with more violence. Leaping down from her tree, she explains her plan, which Ullu and Orji soon overhear, and they hide behind a boulder, spying on the army. Mama exclaims that they will march in, upend the monarchy, and hunt all rare animals; suddenly, Chuluun notices Orji and shouts that he's a spy, startling Ullu. Growling, Mama Binturong snaps that traitors are in their midst, ordering the rest of the army to go ahead while Julisha, Fahari, Smun, and Spike to stay behind.
As Fahari engages in a battle with Orji, Ullu attempts to fly off, but Mama Binturong pins her down and instructs Smun and Spike to trap her while she deliberates on what to do with her and Orji. They oblige, but Ullu, literally using her head, rotates it and scares the porcupines, freeing her. Smun murmurs that they shouldn't tell Mama about it, but having seen everything, she spits that they don't need to. The rest of the army, including Mama, head to the battlefield and create chaos by chasing numerous animals. Mama Binturong herself targets a group of pikas, but Bunga interrupts her, leaping on her head and asking what's up. She tells him to get off, reaching for him, though he grips her face fur and continues riding on her. Fed up, Mama grabs him and throws him off, and he protests that her move wasn't fair. With the pikas climbing onto his back, he promises to be back for her later, running off and leaving her embarrassed. When Kion begins to use the Roar of the Elders to defeat the predators, Mama Binturong refuses to let it scare her and tries fleeing the scene. Mhina points her out to Kion, and getting an idea, he levitates Bunga with the Roar and flings him in her direction. She shrieks, horrified, and Bunga gives her a "token" to remember him by: his stink. The stench makes Mama cower, and he offers to do it again, to which she pleads for him not to. With all of the predators soon being wiped out, Kion summons a tornado that sends them back to where they belong. Weeks later, Jivin, Maya, and Rani thank the Lion Guard for stopping Mama's army and Reth's Pride.
