Reviews[]

Protectors of the Pride Lands is an amazing series. It adds elements that The Lion Guard didn't have, which includes LGBT, disabled characters, and better plots. I understood every single episode and love the way they're written out. Protectors gets two thumbs up from me. Sisi (Message Wall) 03:40, 18 November 2020 (UTC)

Pretty solid work and a series with lots of thought put into it. It has nice characters, good developments, and some nice relationships. However, I will say that Protectors suffers from Mary Sue-ism in the characters (especially Kion and Mhina, which is a huge hit on their relationship), lack of depth, lack of consistency with the plot and characters, and an approach played too safe to be entertaining in the long-term. Children may like it for its continuity of Lion King/Guard though. Greenflower The smoke lingers after fire 17:42, 15 April 2023 (UTC)
