Reth's Pride attacks Nguruma, Timon, and Pumbaa at Lake Shangaza. Later, Scar tells Shupavu to fetch Kiburi's Float for an attack at Lake Shangaza. They attack Kuuma and Mahuluti, but Anga warns the Lion Guard and their allies, and the crocodiles are quickly defeated. Some time after, Janja's Clan attacks Masikio's Drove at Lake Shangaza, and Ono, Bunga, Fuli, Bupu, and Laini rush there to save them.
