Kovu is a male lion. He is the mate of Kiara and current King of the Pride Lands. He is also the youngest son of Zira, brother of Vitani and Nuka, father of Badru, Kheri and Maua, and brother-in-law of Kopa and Kion.
Physical appearance[]
Kovu has a dark brown mane that ends in bangs over his forehead. His fur is brown with a lighter colored muzzle, chest, stomach and paws. Over his right eye there is a scar he received from his mother. His eyes are green and yellow, and he has a black hooked nose.
Personality[]
Raised by Zira to be a killer, Kovu was initially cold-hearted, aggressive, and arrogant. However, upon reuniting with Kiara, he became more softer and kinder, and started to realize his mother had been wrong about Simba. He finally realized right from wrong, and with Kiara was able to reunite the two lion prides.
Since joining Simba's pride, Kovu is much nicer than as a young adult, and, although sometimes suspicious of newcomers, is a considerate and thoughtful individual, caring greatly about his loved ones.
