Kopa is a male lion. He is the son of Simba and Nala, and the brother of Kion and Kiara. He was attacked by Shenzi as a cub. He currently resides in the Pride Lands.

1 - Long Lost Prince[]

Kopa was wandering outside the Tree of Life when he was attacked by Bhaaloo. After the Night Pride saw him, they took Kopa to the Tree of Life. There, Kopa revealed that he had ran away from his home as a cub and has been searching for his home since. As the Night Pride and Azaad try to help Kopa, he reveals he is from the Pride Lands and the son of Simba and Nala. Kion, though initially in disbelief, sees that Kopa is his brother, and promises to escort him home safely.
5 - Return of the Guard[]

When Kopa returns to the Pride Lands, he reveals to his parents that he is, in fact, still alive. Simba and Nala head off to talk with Kopa, after not seeing him in years. Later, Simba, Nala, and Kopa return, and call a meeting with Kiara and Kion. Simba, Nala, and Kopa explain that, when Kopa was young, he was attacked by Shenzi. Kopa escaped and ran away, but Simba and Nala believed Shenzi killed Kopa.
14 - The Lion Sleeps Tonight[]

Kopa, along with Kiara, Kovu, and Nala, visit Kion after he falls off the cliff. Kopa later confirms that Simba did kill Shenzi, but only because Simba thought Shenzi had killed Kopa.
25 - Bhaaloo the Pride Lander[]

Kopa explained his side of the story to Bhaaloo regarding the day Simba killed Shenzi. A flashback later begins, showing Kopa escape Shenzi by jumping over her and running away. Before Shenzi can follow Kopa, she is stopped by Simba. The flashback ends and Kopa continues explaining more of his story.
Appearance[]
Kopa has several scars on him from Bhaaloo's attack.
Trivia[]
- Kopa is a Swahili word. In English, it means "heart-shaped".
- Kopa is also similar to the Swahili word "kupa". In English, it means "to give".
- Kopa's several scars were given to him during Bhaaloo's attack in Long Lost Prince (EBA's Fanon).
