Kopa is a male lion who is the eldest son of Simba and Nala. He is the older brother of Kiara and Kion, mate of Vitani, brother-in-law of Kovu, Rani and Nuka, and the father of Safiya and Nuka II.
Physical appearance[]
Kopa is a lion who is described as "quite built". He has a brown colored mane, blue eyes, a scar on his jaw, and golden-orange fur. He highly resembles his father.
Personality[]
He is portrayed as friendly, outgoing and well-meaning. He can be quite defensive when needed, whether that be defending himself or his friends. He still has a bit of his innocence which he had as a cub, being fairly interested in a lot of things. He is fascinated by the Lion Guard. Communitive and well-meaning, he can sometimes get stuck talking with friends.
As a mate and father, Kopa tries not to be overly affectionate, but does love doting his cubs. He is a very loyal friend and is grateful when kindness is shown to him.

- His name means "hearts" (like playing cards) in Swahili.
- He has the most admirers: Tiifu, Zuri and Kasi all have crushes on him right away, although they all develop feelings on someone else after a while.
- Although he didn't know of his younger brother's existence, Kopa introduced himself to Vitani's Lion Guard as "a son" of Simba and Nala, which suggests he assumed that his parents might have had another son before his return to the Pride Lands.
- He received his scar from Makucha.
- Kopa enjoys talking with friends and family.
