Kopa is a teenage male lion. He is the adopted son of Ajani and Ayo, the adoptive brother of Mhina, Tatu, and Kicheko, and a member of the Tumaini Pride.

He is a supporting character in Legends of the Lion Guard.

Appearance

Slim and moderately well-muscled, Kopa has a rich, battle-scarred golden pelt with his muzzle, underbelly and paws being lighter in color. He has orange eyes, and dark ear rims. Both his head tuft and tail tuft are reddish-brown.

Personality

Kopa displays a strong sense of responsibility, as he pushes his adopted brother to become king of Leopon Plains. Even when rejected, Kopa shows determination and persistence, taking matters into his own paws in order to nudge his adopted brother in the right direction. As he did when he was a cub, Kopa firmly believes himself to be a leopon. He is also friendly, strong-willed, passionate, and acceptive, in addition to being a strong fighter and reserved when need be.

History

Backstory

After being orphaned at a young age,  Kopa was found by Amali, who brought him to Ajani and Ayo. Ajani and Ayo were enchanted by the young cub, and decided to adopt him.
