History[]

A long time ago, long before King Mosi and his brother, Askari arrived, Kongwe was born to unknown parents on the land that will eventually become the Pridelands. She lived peacefully with the other animals, without a king or queen for a long time before King Mosi and Askari arrived. She was angry at King Mosi, when he announced that he will rule the land, saying that the land had been led by no one since the beginning of time. However, after King Mosi met Queen Zalika and Askari forms his own Lion Guard to fight evil lions, she became comfortable living under the rule of King Mosi and Queen Zalika.

She lived there for many years, throughout many generations of the monarchy of lions. Eventually, when King Mufasa was killed by Scar, she became distraught over his death. Over the years of King Scar’s rule, she became devastated and learnt to be very patient as she seen the future where Scar is no longer the king and the Pridelands becomes brimming with life again.
